Just heard from Steven Stone - one of our newest members~
quote:
My Alex has just been admitted to the hospital. He is a pretty sick little boy. His lungs are infected,he's running a low grade fever, he's dehydrated, and throwing-up. He is so small he seems to catch every bug that comes down the pike. He is taking breathing treatments and is on oxygen. The doctor said he thought he would be there two or three days.  String your bows for him. I'll try to keep you informed.

So ... prayer vigil is being kept here ... there ... and everywhere~
Thank you all~

Steve ... may the Greatest Healer of all time hold Alex in His loving arms and give the doctors the guidance and skill to get him up and out of there quickly~

Marge/sis....Steven....Alex is in my prayers.  Hospitals are scary places for little boys, but more so for fathers.

Steven, I am sorry to hear that your son, Alex, is in the hospital. As a parent myself, I understand the fear and frustration that you must be experiencing. Standing by your child's side feeling helpless and wanting to "make him/her all better".

May a band of healing angels surround him and return him to a healthy state of being.

I am sending him this cyber teddy bear buddy to keep him company during this ordeal.

Wrapping my arms around him ~ and you!

Just to let you all know. At 12:30 last night Alex sat up and asked me for something to eat. He ate a bag of chips and went back to sleep. :-) His doctor came in this morning and ask me how long his oxygen had been off. I told him with a gasp "I...I don't know, I didn't know it was." After what seemed like forever the doctor said "His breathing is good, I think we can leave it off." :-) They brought us some breakfast and Alex ate a bacon and biscuit... all of it, and drank a pint of milk. His mother came to relieve me a few minutes ago. As I started to leave I bent over and started to kiss his little face. He blocked my kiss with all the expertice of a kung fu fighter. He don't care for the mushy stuff at his age. :-)

My gratitude for your prayers. I can feel the power in the form of peace and great joy this morning. What a beautiful journey this day offers. peace

Steven:  I just found out about the problem with Alex and as I scrolled down, was rewarded with the good news that he is on the mend. Such great news.  Our youngest son spent weeks and weeks in the hospital when he was very small and my husband and I did shifts so one of us was always there. I truly know how frightening this can be. God Bless.

I love it when my God so graphically displays his love for all to see. Only yesterday I posted "Silent Vigil" for Marge and Bill. I think he said, Cast your love on the water and it will come back to you for many days. I don't think he will mind if I didn't get all the words right. I think I got the meaning.

You all are awesome in every way. If you want to use some of those extra minutes on your cell phones. Alex is at Russell Medical Center Alexander City, Al. to dial directly to his room (256)329-7328. I know he was all smiles when I told him about your prayers.
P.S His brothers gave him the nick name "Little Man" Our Native American friends called him "Smiles A Lot". :-)

Dear Steven, I add a prayer of gratitude for the recovery of your little "Smiles a lot".
(((((Alex))))

May he quickly recover all the energy he lost through the illness and grow stronger than ever.

Thank you dear Marge for giving us the opportunity to gather in prayer.

It's been a long but joyful day. Tired from two nights at the hospital. So glad my Little Man is back home and feeling better. Marge you are somethin special. Your huglets are really starting to have an effect on my entire family. :-) We can't thank you enough.

Neither does a mere thank you seem sufficent for the support and prayer's from everyone gathered here on this special page that Marge made with her loving heart.

I am so thankful that as Marge so aptly put it a journey of friendship with each one of you has just begun. I anticipate many wonderful monents ahead because of you all.
A thank you to all and a special "first huglet" for Marge.
