I know that I have not posted in a long long time on the forum, been pretty busy getting ready for my first.  Little Briana Lynne will be here any day.  My wife started having contractions last night and the anxiety is driving us both mad.  Could someone out there help me pray for peace and that everything will go smoothly?

Thank you all - God bless you - Tim

Tim,
Soon enough it will be lullabies and good nights.
Rock-a-bye and hold her tight.
Pace the floor,
and do it some more.
But first there is the stress before,
You will have plenty of time for adore.
Seldom do we like to wait,
And it ain't that fun to stay up late.
But before you know it she'll be here,
Then you will forget all your fear.
But until then you're in our prayers,
Please know that everyone cares.
Peace...

Is she here yet?  How well I remember those anxious moments.  Just look around and see  the millions who've survived it, then you'll feel calmer :-)

Seriously, I'm asking God's blessings for each of you during this very special event.

Done... I know the anxziety with your first, and when you actually see her, it gets all better, and you realize that now you have to take care of her... and the anxierty sets in again.
Take a few deep breaths, and realize that you will do just fine.

P4C, my firstborn was 21 days over-due!!!

Both of you just hang in there! It's better that Briana is in the oven a bit longer than it is for her coming out half-baked! lol

I pray for God's angels to oversee the birth of your precious baby girl! Mind you, it's a given, considering that her father is a poet for Christ! Angel 3

Love and God's Light,

Just checking in to see if baby's come into the world yet.  Okay, each day seems like a year right now.  After she arrives, each year'll seem like a day you'll be so busy. May you be blessed in your anticipation and ecstatic in her arrival.

Well, its Monday - still nothing and wife is completely miserable.  On top of that my 17 year old Australian Shepherd is having serious arthritis again and is having problems walking (poor girl).  I guess I have three girls to pray for. Wife, child and dog. I sincerely thank you all for your posts and I know everything is fine.  I trust God to handle things.  I will keep you all updated, maybe even try to post a pic when she gets her somehow.
Thank you all and God bless you - Tim

Oh, this brings such special memories of my firstborn. Hopefully, you are busy changing diapers and looking into the eyes of your daughter by now.
