well finally something "good" has come my way...an opportunity to open the school year in a Kindergarten class for at least the first 2 weeks of school...in the meantime I will be setting up the rest of this week and planning for it and then every weekend for 9 weeks working at the Maryland Renaissance Festival and will have very little time to be on here and read and respond.

So forgive me if you just catch me peeking in... for the next few weeks...last school year substituting, I would come home so tired I went to bed by 6...it will take some getting use to but I am up for it...so you may see me on but not as often for now.

In the meantime I wish to thank you for all your friendships and support.

Maureen, this is great news!! Not that you won't be on PIP as much,
but that something good is happening, Hon. I'm so excited
for you!! That sounds like it will be fun, with the
little kids in kindergarten. They are so cute when
they're starting to school. And your other job at
the Maryland Renaissance Festival sounds really interesting, too.

Thank you..it is my "foot in the door" and a chance to get back into teaching...well at least to earn the money to take the refresher courses I need to re certify and then get hired full time...

it is my "future"

so thank you once again...and Larry I teased the secretary and asked her if I was the 5th or 6th choice...she said no "the first" she thought...

so that did make me feel good (either way I would be happy)

And? AND? A Renaissance Festival!!! AND in Maryland too! Just paint me green and put my pic under envy in your dictionary!

You will be missed, but it is enough to know you will be enjoying life m'friend.

Of course, I know and you know - The younger the class is, the harder the teacher works - but perhaps the most fun is a direct function as well... Enjoy!!!...
