 http://www.kboo.fm/listen.php The largest and most popular annual blues festival on the West Coast, the Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival, is ready to kick off this Friday, jamming up Portland through the 4th of July finale! I am proud to be co-hosting two of the four nights, this Friday the 1st and on the Fourth of July, each from 3:00-7:30 PST. If you'd like to stream the festival live on your laptop or home computer, you can do that by simply going to the KBOO web-site above and just click to stream, yay! The Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival will be happening live, from noon to 10 P.M PST, July 1st-July 4th. Have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend everyone, and feel free to put some blues into it! Way cool, Noah. Get that associates or BS in Mass Comm, a few internships, and you'll be set for mainstream. Even if you get a bit down, don't worry. Means to an end, and the most important thing: work experience. Have a good one, keep safe, and again, most importantly, have fun! |

hey, am listening now, since I couldn't get there in person!!! BOOOO  Noah, I'm enjoying the tunes (6:58PM oregon time)  yes! eric johnson BRAVO!!!!!and charlie musselwhite all on a sunny day in portland (poetland today).... only $5 bucks plus 2 cans of food for the food bank (BTW I work at a food bank about 10 hours week) what a great way to spend your time and money! listening to the update after listening to Buddy Guy ( )the Waterfront Blues Festival... on the first day, they collected over 24thousand pounds of food for the Oregon food Bank! THANKS NOAH, and all those blues fans!!! on a side note? me? I tripped and fell over some food boxes today while unloading over 1000 pounds of food for our local food bank...am bruised and sore after hitting the concrete floor, but not out of commission too many hungry mouths out there[This message has been edited by Midnitesun (07-02-2005 01:21 AM).] |

Noah, I could only catch a few minutes of the broadcast which started at 6 PM our time. I was off for an evening which included "War of the Worlds" ~ which, btw, was totally out of this world! I just read Kacy's reply and I do believe that this world would be a much better place if there were more people like the two of you! am listening now Noah, live streaming cuz I decided not to fight the traffic today and am VERY happily relaxing to the good music and a glass of Shiraz getting ready to listen to Oliver "Black Spirits"....from Zimbabwe Ray Charles tribute later tonight and fireworks...Shorty at 10PM oh man!!!! but Oliver is superb!!!! now, I have another great musician to add to the list where can I buy his CD, Noah???? I am lovin this music....wish I was standing there now, in 3D by myself, though it would be fun to be in the thick of that crowd! |

Just got back from the BluesFest and it was totally AWESOME!!!! Finally got to meet our Noah, up close and personal and all I can say is what a great guy!! Took a couple of pics of him. One with shades and one without. He was a real sweetheart to let me do that. If any of you get the chance to get to the BluesFest, I definitely recommend it. Awesome music, tremendous vibe. |

I am GRRRREEEEEN with envy, Phairie poet you got to go to the blues fest. I could have, but chose to stay home, get some important busyness done, and listen via KBOO! lucky you, so glad you got some photos! share???? next year this time? I shall be there...what a great thing I missed out on being part of it live...now, to go and pout. LOL |
