Thank You Tons And Happy Holidays From The Gang Here!

If your name is not there, I apologize but I ran out of room!

Well, I have not been here as long as some but have been touched by Ron's generosity in more ways than one, and certainly am way better for having crossed his path. I will be forever grateful for the lasting friendships gained at this site through the common love of poetry.

This site I believe is successfully bringing together people from every walk of life for the sole purpose of sharing the love of writing.  They can do this in a safe environment where all are treated with respect.

The link below is to our site meter. It is that little colored box at the bottom of each page here.  It is truly unbelievable as to the amount of people who come to Ron's house each day, both main site and forums.  I bet even Ron didn't count on this becoming the successful site it has become?
http://www.sitemeter.com/default.asp?action=stats&site=sm2netpoets

This community of people who get together to share the written world is supplied out of Ron's own pocket change by the way, and trust me bandwidth is not cheap these days. I am not a computer geek so have no idea what this must be costing him each month but am sure it is plenty, so for his generosity I am forever grateful.  Thanks also to all the many volunteers who make this site what it is as well by the way.

There is a method in my daily madness and today it is for us all to at least think of something we can do to help around here a bit even?

1)  Could we all take a second to click all the banners here at the site today?  I bet every penny it brings in might help even a little.  It will be hardly a drop in the bucket to the amount spent to maintain this site, but it shows we care.

2)  Maybe some of us could even request some of all those extra poetry books for Christmas gifts for friends that line all the cupboards and walls in Ron's house?  You can bet he must have tons of extras he purchased out of his own pocket to meet printing quantity requirements each year I bet.

Again, thank you Ron, and a very, Happy Holiday Season for us all here to you.

You sir, are one in a million, and we love ya!

Sweet! Nicely done Sharon. It's hard to imagine we can tell him too often. AND I made the list! Thanks Ron so much. And I got to think him second, woohoo! Oh that's right it isn't a competition. I like the house rules around here. What a lovely place.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Sharon, you hung the star on the tree with that statement.  But it may be doing a bit more than that.  You see, when respect is the key word, then enthusiasm for others seems to follow in kind.  No one's ego gets in the way of someone else's poetry, prose, ability to write, love of writing, or any little success any one person might achieve.

In fact, respect, mixed with enthusiasm, seems to multiple one another ad infinitum!  And if you don't mind, and not to take away from your thank you, and me in adding mine, I think I will be marking this link to another little "note" elsewhere.

Sharon, thank you for all of the impetus you have brought to Passions...

Ron?  I think you know how I feel about your home...in that I am blessed that I might call it my home, as well.  You have made my dreams come true in more ways than you know...and before you even THINK..."you had to do it on your own..." and while that thought MIGHT be true...

it is with the encouragement, RESPECT, enthusiasm, and love of the members here that drove me to it!     Actually, it was Sharon's nagging...but I won't say that here!

Merry Christmas Ron...and PiP members

And a Happy New Year to All!!!

PiP anniversary time is near... Was there life before Passions?  Nah... Nope... Isn't it grand?

Ron - Have I mentioned that you're sort of pretty special?...

That's cute Sharon!

Funny thing ... I'd been out meandering about and reading at some other forums just out of curiosity this morning, and it's such a jungle out there.

Respect is the key around here ... I heartily agree!

(clicking heels) There's no place like home ... there's no place like home ...

Thank you Ron!

A tremendous place to be
and have met some great people along the way

Happy Holidays to my PiPs family who I have been here with forever!!!

I love you Ron and all the Moderators who keep things running smoothly. I had a friend come to the site the other day and he said it looked like a place that he would love to be apart of and I told him that is why I have been here soooo long. Thank you all PiPs members for inspiring others and sharing your love of writing with the world!! I remember the world of PiPs before it was a big place with so many people and look at how we've grown. We only seem to get bigger every year. Here's to more years of getting better!

*hugs and kisses*
May you all be Blessed for the coming New Year!!!

Love,
Ladycat
