City of Roses
|Though I did not agree with much of Bush's policies in his first term and even resent much of what he did like the war in Iraq, I too pray for the same as Ruth has.
I believe this nation remains so deeply polarized, and we need to judge Bush in his second term not solely by what he's done already. We shouldn't judge Bush and the Republicans on what they say they will do, let us judge on what happens these next four years, and how close they will be in promising to be bi-partisan.
This country just needs a big hug right now. Let us try and work together and live together without all this leftover aggressiveness from the election season. I certainly hope Bush can redeem himself somewhat this second term and work for the interests of all Americans. I really do hope that, and I hope that will be the case.
Let's get along and let the healing begin, for the sake of our great nation. For I believe we can unite without conforming.

But if the bright lights don't receive you
You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20
