Superman. Christopher Reeves. RIP.
He fought his last battle with all the bravery of a real live super hero.

Cape or not ... he could 'fly'
and now he does with perfect wings~

Such a wonderful role model in these trying days~

Regrettably, infection complications from bedsores are an all too common occurence, and often end in the same matter.  Once again, Dear Sir, you can run and ride.

He will be with us for a very long time, in every conversation about stem cell research, or when talking about spinal cord injuries.

Kacy, I am so glad you posted this.  I came here looking to see if you did, and you did!  He was my hero, too.  He is my hero... I heard on the news tonight that he called Kerry and left a message urging him to press on the research.  It was as if he knew.  I have been so sad all day, but my daughter reminded me tonight that he is now in a better place and once again has all the freedom of movement the mind can imagine.   ....jo

I think I may have cried for an hour after I found out..

When I was still a kid, the Superman movies were my obsession. Not only did I have my first crush on him, but I just ADORED him..

He will be missed..
