Just got a call from my daughter Lynn Karijn who's in Barcelona (Spain) playing Softball Europe cup 1, and her team won!!!!!! never lost a game!!!!

So many Europian teams hire American pitchers who's background is somehow related to the hiring country (Italy hires USA pitchers who have Italian backgrounds and paying them a lot of money to naturalize them for one season, so they're able to put them in the team)
But...Lynn's team was the only team that hadn't done that, they played by their own Dutch force and conquered them all!

I'm so proud, specially after her recovery from a very severe knee injury she got in Prague couple of years ago. Lynn had a batting average of 600 (3 out of 5).

Just wanted to tell you that (have to tell someone don't I).

Titia

Titia, it may have been an e-mail, or a note somewhere here in Passions, but I remember something about your daughter's knee injury.  I'm SO very glad that she came through it and healed well enough not only to play, but to go all the way to the win!  That makes her a double winner in my eyes!  Congratulations all the way around!
