I'm a member of a Foundation that provides a home for all primates held in displorable conditions. It's called Foundation AAP (AAP is Dutch for Monkey). They planned to build a rescue house in Spain for large groups of Chimpansee's used in science. All was going well, until recently the local mayor withdrew his consent without reason. Now they've started a worldwide action to bring this man to reason and I'm asking you: please sign the petition with your name and hometown. http://www.aap.nl/specials2003/petitie20040730/indexFS.php?versie=EN You may click on the flags up above to read the text in English, Spanish or German. This Foundation AAP is really doing a lot of good work for all those poor animals, used for science/cosmetic purposes, apes held in homes in small cages, or any other exotic animal in distress. I just shook my head too!  Well for the sake of those animals let us hope it works Titia. There are so many horrible things done the general public never hears about, so thank you for bringing it into the open. Hope everyone signs for the poor things. |
