Ten bombs went off in downtown Madrid today at the Atocha train station, killing around 200 people and wounding an estimated 1,400 during the morning commute.

Spanish officials believe the Basque separtarist group ETA is responsible while others are claiming it was al-Qaeda after London received an e-mail from an anonymous source claiming al-Qaeda said they were responsible, along with the investigation of a van in Alcala de Henares, outside Madrid, with detonators and an Arabic tape with Koranic teachings, though having no threats and being sold commerically.

Let us all send our innermost prayers and thoughts to Madrid and all its brohers, sisters, sons and daughters, and join them in their grief with our compassion and sympathy. God Bless You All and God Bless Spain!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Whoever is responsible, it is still very sad. They will be in my prayers.

The victims of this trajedy and their families are in my prayers as well, that God may give them strength and peace.
And I also pray for the victims and the families of the victims of all forms of terrorism.

Thank you Noah.

May this senseless terrorist strategy stop. May humankind awaken to the awareness that we are all One. To kill each other for whatever reasons will not bring along solutions, it will further aliment hatred and violence.

May human relationships be based on respect and LOVE. May harmony reign, may differences be a reason to enrich each other, to grow together in love and compassion.

I pray for the victims to soar high in heavenly realms and to find peace in God’s arms. For the injured to heal. For their families who go through indescribable pain to find some strength in the love surrounding them, to not despair. I pray for people to cultivate hope that these acts of human failure will plant the seeds in all hearts to create a better world.

May we not weaken because of these deplorable events, but may we grow stronger in Love and Light.

Our Lord of Heavens thank You for listening to our prayers. May Your Light touch this world and our hearts.

Love, Margherita

(big angel hugs) Thank you all for joining in this circle of hands!

Margerita: I couldn't agree with you more. It is hard to imagine anyone with so much hate in them to endanger the lives of others! And I also pray in the aftermath of this tragedy that instead of retaliation we can work together to reach out and settle each others differences with love and mediation. History has proven vengeance, revenge and killing have never solved any of the problems, so war has got to stop being an option, permanently, in any circumstance. Whether it's Afghanistan, Iraq, anywhere, hatred only grows through the horrors of war. Love is the only remedy.

So let's pray our politicans finally learn from this tragedy and not start another war of their own. Meanwhile may our prayers and comfort keep coming to the innocent victims.

Sincerely,
Noah Eaton

It's a horrible occurance, the worst terrorist attack in European history, truely Spain's 9-11. It's sad that other countries have to feel the things that the US felt, and what Israel feels as well... it isn't easy to stand up for what is right. We can only pray for peace, it seems.

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee
