I have missed you all so very, very, much! I have spent the last two months in Hell and this "angel" can promise you that Heaven is a far nicer place to be! I was rushed to the hospital on Dec. 24th and ended up staying for 7 weeks!!! I had emegency open heart surgery for a quadruple by-pass and then the complications started! It was unbelievable all the things that happened to me! I was the youngest person on the ward. It is a genetic thing! I eat healthily, exercise, take suppliments and meditate and I end up with coronary artery disease! Go figure! Well, I suppose the writing was on the wall because my brother had the same operation a few months ago--thankfully minus all the complications that I endured. Apparently I never had a heart attack per se, however my coronary arteries were all nearly totally blocked and it was a miracle that I was able to function with only a very small amount of blood going to my heart. The doctors said that my my heart is very strong from years of exercising and now I have new plumbing! After 7 weeks of hospital I went to a friend's house to recuperate for two weeks and during that time I had an RN visit me daily to change my dressings etc. I have now just arrived at our new home. I left our previous one on Dec. 24 and have come home to a brand new one! My daughter Shannon shouldered most of the move herself! Packing, notifying, organizing, cleaning, orchestrating...She even handled the affairs re my business!--while she's teaching full time, working on her Master's degree, has an e-commerce business, and had her Mom almost die just a few weeks after her fiance's father did die! My other daughter would come over and help out whenever she could. She was very helpful to both me and her sister. I am so blessed to have such loving and responsible daughters. I am still quite weak and it will take some time to get back on my feet. Shannon would read the loving messages to me from you who have touched my heart during my time here at Passions. You helped to keep my spirits up and I truly appreciated your loving, caring, and encouraging words. My computer was just set up last night and I haven't got a new email address as yet. I'll post it when I have one. I read all your responses to Shannon's announcements and up-date re my condition. You are all the REAL angels!!! Again my thanks for your prayers, love and continued friendship. I have a strong and healthy heart with brand new pipes! Linda glad you are back and wanted to share a little cute story with you about my Dad, he had heart surgery and they used a pig's value to repair his heart. He swore if he lived he would never eat pork again, in honor of that pig, and he never did!  He was given a new lease on life and actually was at least ten years younger having had that surgery, but I remember at the time, it was gruesome! Welcome back - and enjoy that new lease on life. Settle in with your new poetry book and relax and get better soon. |

 (does happy dance in tears of joy) Oh Linda, just turning on the computer just now to see you've returned has literally left me flooding in tears to know all our angel hugs came through for you and now you are sounding as if you're all brand-new yet the same angel as ever, yay! (wipes tears) I have thought of you too much and have prayed for you every night as I also have with Auguste, and knew heavens angels would reach out to their Earth Angel! Oooooohhhhhh...Linda, I also want to add that your Shannon truly has the golden angel heart you do! Reading her updates about you and reading just now of how she helped with a majority of the move made me cry knowing how blessed of a family you have and how I know the love you share between mother and daughter is angelic forever! Thank you for the loving remarks, my friends! Unfortunately I've had another setback. My back is out from being in bed for so long and it has affected my shoulder, neck and my breathing. This pain is almost as bad as the pain caused by my open-heart surgery! Gadzooks, will the complications please stop coming! ~ Oh, yes! Sadie ~ Gadzooks! I was not a happy camper for a couple of months, however, I am nearly over all of the fall-out from all the complications and I am feeling fantastic! In fact, all my systems are functioning well and I'm happy and grateful to be alive! Yeppers!
