Dear Ron:

Just a short time ago, I received my copy of THE BOOK!  I think it's a grand collection of the
outstanding poetry that appears on these sites.

Thank you for signing my copy!  That is the frosting on the cake!  I laid it down for a few minutes to take a phone call and when I got back, my husband, Will, had confiscated it and I haven't gotten it yet!  I will make up for that later, but the pages I have read are wonderful.

Your poem at the end, The Edge of Autumn, is masterfully written and profoundly moving! I congratulate you on a job well done and you should feel great pride in the results.

Betty Lou

I received mine this morning too, Ron. Thank you so much! And yes, The Edge of Autumn chokes me up every time I read it. I want to be able to write like that!

Thanks again, Ron!

Instead of starting another thread I thought I'd just add to this one. My books came today. They were waiting in the mail box when I came home from shopping. There are no words. Really...

I can only say Thank you..and mean it from my heart.

LOL...AZ before KS....Post Office must do things alphabetically...anticipating this not so much for me, because I KNOW?  But for my friends, who want to go home, carrying what they assume

is a treasure of mine.

Ron...?  How many ways can we say thanks, even while we are still a bit emptyhanded?

I'm loving all the comments I have read to date [this moment CST 8:47 p.m. 1/16/04]

I know it's coming I know it's coming I know it's coming....

Was raining when I got home from work today Ron.  My book was waiting for me in the mailbox.  The rain pouring down made for a great reading night.  It looks great!  Thank you for everything you did, and most of all thank you for being patient with our impatience.  God Bless you Ron for you have blessed so many.

Thanx - Tim
