unlike some I see who have left this site in this past I am not looking for attention, I have enjoyed my time here and wish the best to all. I post here just to give the following comments a read: my overall impression of the site is very positive. try and use the critique room and the dark room more...there are 1000 poets trying to jump on the open poetry stage at once, not good. the site could also use a room just for haiku, haibun etc... peace out, a special thanks to sev mod on CA. |

There's not a lot of poetry sites out there for you that will live up to this one in terms of quantity (and therefore quality, if you know how to pick through the many poets and devote your reading to those you like). Don't be afraid to come back if you have a change of heart---a lot of people "leave" piptalk only to return within the month. I wonder how many we've lost just because they were too proud to come back, even if they wanted to? It's kind of disturbing. Take care of yourself, wherever you're off to. Faith is a fine invention |

Through the support of all the passionate people here I've learned a few things, and I have grown in my struggle to become a poet. No doubt, CA is a valuable resource, if you can take the heat, but you must understand, some of us just come for tea~ Happy trails, wintertao |

Winter, I'm sorry to see you go. I also hope that you decide to stay. I hate to see anyone leave us. Overall, we're a pretty good bunch. Right? Yes, Open can get overwhelming, sometimes, but LP did leave a very good reply. And, I also feel the way Blues said about CA. Some of us just don't think our writing is good enough to be in CA. I certainly don't think mine is. In fact, I don't even call myself a "poet" or "poetess". If you do decide to leave us, I hope that you will be back soon.  Thank you, Ethel |
