Well I can't give away the theme of this party as the honors of concocting its theme go to the one, the only, Miss PoetdeVine.  I can however tell you there is gonna be a party in the house tonight, so bring yourself up a chair and don't watch the clock tick by if you are not up to much else.  Come for a few minutes, or a little while, but come and visit!

It will start in the Lounge, and depending on how the evening goes, it may move to Mature, or to a chatroom we create, but at least we can all spend some time together.  Don't be afraid to admit you are alone tonight, I AM!  I got snowed in, my date got the flu, and even if he had not, I couldn't have gotten to the function anyway, so I can't think of anyone I would rather share my time with than all the people who bring me joy each day of the year.

You too COWBOY RON!

See y'all later in The Lounge.

An event I hate to miss! Know I'll be there in spirit. And Happy New Year to each of my wonderful poet friends.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thank you for the invitation dear Sharon. Here the fireworks are over, Champagne is flowing in the veins ... and the New Year looks friendly at this moment ... when I am going to close my eyes and dream a sweet dream of peace and love.
WISHING YOU ALL A GREAT PARTY and A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Love, Margherita

Oh...you really shouldn't come to chat
there's something there you shouldn't see!
Women running amok everywhere
and naked men running free!

We're having such a splendid time
you hope you'll drop on by
we're having root beer floats now
and later there's cherry pie

We've talked about starting up a game
right now we're on Truth or Dare
and next we'll probably begin
to describe our underwear.

We hope you stop by for a bit
to ring in the New Year with a friend
but please be careful when walking through
Someone just pinched my rear end!

I think we have a flirt in here
waiting to pounce on female or male
I'm sure you'll understand my plight
when it's YOU with an owie on your tail!

There is so much to be thankful for, I'm gonna count my blessings more often this year.

You guys are too much fun!
Turn up the music and party on everyone.

Got wine, I mean cake!

No chatting for me tonight (couldn't get in anyway) because the New Year is already 4 hours old overhere and I really need my beauty sleep.

I wish all my friends a very Happy New Year.

Love you all.

It was a lot of fun, and glad to see everyone made it through to "their" midnight, and were also kind enough to stay until the West Coast saw their New Year too.

I think a scheduled chat each month is a great idea, or even leave that door open for folks that wish to get together whenever they feel like it.  There was a real mix of people there last night and we surely did have fun, or at least I did.  I sure want to thank our invited surprise guest, always so nice when you invite someone special and they make the time to actually show up! Thanks again Ron.

Happy New Year Everyone!  Let's make it a memorable one shall we?

I don't know why I woke up so early, I went to bed after 3!!! And by 7:30, I was up and on this computer!

We had a great time..lots of laughs..lots of good conversations!

We do want to do another chat soon...the MSN chatrooms are easy to access. We were thinking of a chat to inspire us..to wake up the sleeping muse!!!

What do you think?

Sorry I missed the chat. I did try at one point, but I couldn't get on/set up properly. I had some problems with Net Passport, then joining the group, then when it says it's downloading the MSN chat software, it never seems to finalize (it says to click when you see the smiley face - but it never shows up). I've just tried it again for future use, but I can't seem to get anywhere, lol. Just call me impatient or incompetent with this slow dial up!

Ah well ... hope it was fun. Maybe I'll figure this out someday. For now, I give up, lol.

Happy New Year all.

I had the problem too with the Twisted/Serenity site before. I was having the same problem here when I tried to go through the link from Passions. I finally went to MSN and signed in that way. then I went to the Passions group in Groups. Then I got right in. It did take awhile.
