I was born with cerebral palsy.
A bright light in my life who showed me that such a malady should not hold me back was my grandfather,
In May 2003, he died after waging a battle with lung cancer. Just prior to his death, I had publishjed a book of prose that I dedicated to him. It was the last book he ever read.
My grandmother told me that, upon finishing the book, he turned to her and said, "That kid is something else."
This book has helped me to deal with my grief concerning his loss. I am told that the eclectic bunch of prose has wide appeal.
Here is a link to the book at amazon.com. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/059527367X/qid=1067772527/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/002-6693789-6092066?v=glance&n=507846
I would be honored to know what the people who read this boaed think of mu book. Personally, i brlieve in it with all my heart.
May God, whoever God may be to you, bless the departed souls of our beloved.
Derek

I would agree with your Grandfather that you must have made him proud...

Thank you very much for sharing this with us, Derek.  It does look to be a very interesting book!
