Okay... We need rain. Badly. BC is quickly diving headlong into drought conditions, and our province is a tinderbox waiting to ignite. I know that all the sun-worshippers down in Vancouver *grins evily* will be not too happy with this request, but we really do need rain. At the rate its' going, we're going to have to start feeding our horses hay three months before we usually do. Our ranchers have gotten one cut of hay, and it doesn't look promising that there's going to be any more. Anyone remember Alberta's situation last year? That's BC this year... not good. Anyway, there's a bunch of forest fires burning around the province, although not as many as one might expect (only about 160 or so), but the way things are going, who knows how long it's going to be before there are more. Only a couple of days of rain, and then everything will be nice and moist for another few weeks of sun. I've never experienced drought before, but it looks like I'm going to see it happen... not cool. Anyway, your prayers are appreciated in advance, I know this isn't the typical request *hugs to you all* |

Skyfire: We are praying for rain here too, in Northern Idaho, as there are many fires burning. It won't be hard to include B.C. You're not that far away. Maybe a rainstorm that will cover both areas at once! Betty Lou Hebert |

Well we're in a state of emergancy now... I can't tear my eyes away from the tv. Heh I haven't prayed in a long time, but it's happening now... tomorrow I'm on my own on the place so the horses get their halters on in the morning just in case *cries* |
