I'm okay, Sharon!

It's beautiful weather out on the prairies... the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the tornado is spinning... haha, just kidding, but we've had a few tornadoes lately which is scary, none near the city though.

Hopefully this hurricane thing will all blow over.

When gentlemen can see
But microscopes are prudent
In an emergency.

Hurricane? **groan** WHERE?
Geesh..haven't I already been through this?

Glad I'm not where I'm going yet...

Hope everyone is safe...

Where is its path anyways?

Late at night you'll come crawling back
Just to steal a piece of me

Claudette is here in Texas.  The eye of the storm is just south of where I live.  Here on the island of Galveston, we have experienced some flooding and winds.  Fortunately, the part of town where I live is not flooded.

I am actually at work at this moment.  Claudette is a category 1 hurricane.  We have been through worse.

I'm pleased with the fact that it is a category one..
Although high winds and heavy rain can do a lot of damage.
Stay safe everyone south of the border.

I hail from Cowpens, SC....and aside from the leaves turning in the wrong direction, and the skies burning midnight blue every evening, we are OK.

The kids go Tornado watching every night...and I sit here in the dark, (every thing unplugged) cause' the heat lightning is terrible!

Looks like we dodged another, Sharon.

But prayers to all who were less fortunate.

Other than having to chase my glasses across the parking lot after the wind tore them off my face... and arriving at work looking like the proverbial drowned rat with an umbrella that all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put together again... all was well here. *S* Bullet dodged. *S*

I just have to haul all my plants back out again... ALL of them. *sigh* LOL
