My daughter Ashley has been ill. I had to take her to the emergency room on Tuesday. She is suffering from severe migranes and dizziness. They ran some tests, blood and a CT scan, and the doctor suggested I take her to a doctor for some more tests. I will be taking her to the pediatric center tomorrow morning. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you |

My son suffered this way when he was young...it is very painful and brings life to a stand still. I wish you the best.  |

You know children are so resilient and I can only pray she will bounce back quickly. I am hoping that it just has something to do with the heat as I too am suffering migrane headaches in the heat and altitude in a different place, (not used to it). I truly hope it turns out to be something so minor, try not to worry. |

Thank you all so very much. We are back from the doctor and it turned out to be severe sinusitis. All these years that she's complained about headaches, not quite as severe as these, it's been due to her allergies. Praise the Lord, it was just something that minor. I know, for her, it didn't seem minor, for the pain was really severe. I was concerned also about the financial aspect, since my husband and I have no medical insurance. I can't tell you how nice every single doctor, receptionist, social worker, and pharmicist was that I saw today. They were all kind, and compassionate and it made the whole experience for my daughter a pleasant one. She will probably have to take allergy medicine, such as claritin, during those months when her allergies act up, but this is a small thing, compared to what it could have been. I would also like to say that my faith helped me a great deal during this time. I knew the Lord would be with her, and that the prayers of the faithful here would lift her up to the Lord. Again, thank you all who prayed for her. It's comforting to know that all over the world the faithful pray for each other. Love in Christ, Anne |
