As many of you know, Nan and I have been building a poetry site
for Lyra, that was meant to be a surprise birthday
gift for her.  Due to the recent circumstances, Dave went
ahead and showed the site to Lyra a few days ago,
and we're very happy that she got a chance to see it.

Please take a moment to check out her site at
http://chipmunk.netpoets.net

And a special memorial page that was just added at,
http://chipmunk.netpoets.net/inmemory.html

While you're at the site, please take a moment to sign Lyra's guestbook.
I'm sure Lyra's family will appreciate it very much.

Lyra was very excited about her site.  She said that she loved the "falling leaves."

David told me today that Lyra's obituary will include a link to her site, as well as the fact that her poetry is about to be published... This was her dream... and I'm eternally grateful that Ron and Passions could fulfill it for her...

It eases the pain of losing our dear Lyra somewhat to know that she did indeed see the beautiful site.  I am pleased in that respect...and also to see her work published in Reflections.
It would be wonderful to have a dedication of the Reflections book to Lyra if at all possible.

Vicky, thank you so much!
The tears are still flowing, and the candles will be re-lit tonight, the healing mantra spoken...this time, for the whole family.
God, I sure do miss that little smiley face!
Thank you, Lyra, forever.

And thank you Vicky, for allowing me space within this site, and for gifting this to our friend. Lyra of the golden clouds

Her site is just beautiful. I am so glad that Lyra was able to see it. I will miss her more than anyone knows. She was my dearest friend. Lyra had mentioned to me one time, when we were talking on the phone, about how much she wanted to have a web site of her own. Thank you, Vicky and Nan so much for making her dream come true.

Oh, I am so glad that Lyra was able to see her website. I am sure she loved it. It is as beautiful & peaceful as where dear Lyra resides now. Chris

Nan and Vicky,

I just read this heart wrenching news! Thank you so much for the work you have done. What can I say, it is much to sad. The site is beautiful as was our friend Lyra.

I must go for I am much to overwhelmed with sadness and I cannot help but, selfishly cry.

My heart mourns.

Vicky~ I was hoping you could make a correction for me on Lyra's web site.
In my poem Kalamazoo Chipmunk Escapades in the 6 stanza first line at the end of that line is a T which should be the moved down too the second line so that the first word in the second line reads They.

Many thanks...Paul

I was, and still am, in awe of what you and Nan have done for our beloved Lyra. It is beautifully designed and full of loving memories and tributes. This is something her family can treasure forever...
Blessings to you and Nan--and to our celestial little chipmunk!---who has earned her angel wings!

Love & Light,
Linda
