This Wednesday, over 15,000 anti-war poems and statements will be presented to members of Congress. If you are strongly opposing the war also and haven't submitted yet, please do so, and may the continuing pandemonium of justice be made!

Here's more information, quoted from the official web-site:

"Poets Against the War announces an International Day of Poetry Against the War on Wednesday, March 5th. Poets around the world will schedule readings and/or discussions of poetry and protest for that day. At noon on March 5th on Capitol Hill, three of America’s preeminent living poets (representing an extraordinary cross section of distinguished poets) will present approximately 15,000 anti-war poems to members of Congress. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) will host the event with other members of the Progressive Caucus including Caucus Co-Chair Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) and Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA).
The poems will be presented by Pulitzer prize winner and Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets W.S. Merwin, Pulitzer prize winner Jorie Graham, author and poet Terry Tempest Williams and founding editor of Copper Canyon Press Sam Hamill."

On the web-site, you will also find a 14-minute streaming video featuring some of the most prominent poets of today speaking out against the war.

Love,
Noah Eaton

Precisely my point!

Today my college is one of 230 to participate in a nation-wide protest against the war. I am bringing my acoustic guitar along where at noon I am performing two songs at the UMC Fountain in Boulder: You Could Commit A Murder and a new one I tentatively title "Haashim's Song", inspired by when recently I visited  alocal American Muslim community center to compassionately reach out to them with the support they really need right now and a 20-year old boy named Haashim told me of the painful vision he sees and that got me to writing that heartfelt acoustic.

Spread the word around and together, war won't have to be inevitable!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I hope all goes well with this, Noah.  I don't know if it will make any difference, but I certainly hope that it does, as I've heard no compelling argument in favour of war...
