Every now and then as I bounce around
I see Santa's made his debut here in PiPTown
Welcome Santa, with your bag of goodies for the year
spreading happy ho-ho's with your Christmas cheer!

Stay awhile, Santa, dear, with your bag of joy!
For we've many a good Pipster, each girl and every boy!
We're due for some levity, cheerfulness and fun!
So Happy Holidays, Santa, and don't tire before you're done!

Santa went skating
Butt he tipped and toppled down
Saying HO-HO-HO
Rudolph and all the reindeer
Hope he's up for Christmas Eve...

nahh, holidays ARE evil.  especially Santa.

Somehow we have all been convinced that, one night a year, it's a GOOD thing for kids to accept gifts from a stranger... and one that breaks into your house, no less!

Know who I think is behind xmas?

Strangers!

Old Santa is a jolly fellow
spreading laughter, joy and glee.
I sent him a great big list
of things to bring to me.

I wasn't greedy with my list.
My first request should be okay.
All I want for Christmas is ...
faster fingers for eBay!

They were Passionate penguins who had a dream to visit every poet on earth... They climbed onto Santa's sleigh last year as he rounded the lower one-eighty enroute to visit our Passionate Aussie friends.  It's obvious that they're not used to the weather up there at the North Pole... Otherwise they wouldn't be wearing those hats & scarves...

have them help round up all the mice!
For Christopher, it seems, won't do,
without be blessed with them thrice!

Now that little elf up there,
with his magic pen
seems to me is smiling big
so he knows all your secrets, then?

Rudolph, Rudolph!  Welcome back!
Time to plan our Santa's attack!
I see Santa's wreath you're hula-hooping!
Now what's that I see the elves all scooping?

Now settle down, we've routes to prepare
and trim Santa's beard, and vestments to wear,
we've cookies to bake, and toys to choose,
so c'mon Rudolph, we've no time to lose!

And have you seen that Mouse-Dude around?
We've stockings to fill with that little clown.
Seem's he's popular, or so he'd believe...
Hurry now Rudolph, soon it'll be time to leave!

Soon the treats will disappear

And children in their dreams aglow
will soon untie gifts ribboned and bowed.

Here's my brother with his sleigh
bringing Christmas tree this way,
here I hold the tinsel and lights
surely this tree will bless our nights...

but what is this I see in slight?
The Christmas mouse dude of the night!
He of silent, faded show
seems to be our background, so...

Christmas Mouse, you're quite the dude
and we like your attitude
so if'n your good, perhaps you'll stay
not just for Christmas, but every day!

Bringing home the tree
To decorate for Christmas
But what a surprise
To find lots of little mice
We're ALL blaming it on Chris

Frosty is dancing
His favorite time of year
Christmas is coming
He knows what Santa will bring
Maybe lots of mouse dude traps?

Blame Chris

Oh Frosty, the Snowman,
he's the coolest dude I know...
with coal black eyes and dancing feet
he's a huggie ball of snow!

Oh Frosty, the Snowman,
will you please come home with me?
I need someone who'll dance for fun
and help frost my Christmas tree!

Blame Chris-full-of-phur Mouse

Mouse Dude is rocking
Backwards in Christmas saddle
With an attitude
Knowing he's the kewlest dude
Methinks we'll blame this on Ron

Donder & Blitzen are their names,
throwing snowballs is their game!
They've come to join us in our fun...
before their timely Christmas run!

Rudolph's snowball fight
Just might postpone Christmas Eve
Reindeer are out of control
Tossing snowballs everywhere
How come they have all the fun?

mouse-dude's gone

the world no longer has meaning

i'm going to go... do something... i don't know what yet, but whatever it is will be in the form of childish rebellion - attempting to "get back" by doing something that is solely self-destructive and ironically has no affect on the person that i want to "get back" at.

so THERE!

Strums along on his guitar
Singing "Ho-Ho-Ho"

Soldiers thrum their drums
Leading Christmas Eve Parade
Pa-Rum-Pum-Pum-Pum
Sleigh bells chime in the distance
Santa Claus is on his way

The old man in his hobby shop
worked as if he couldn't stop
and then Santa came to cheer
on a guitar, singing clear!

and then the soldiers came to drum
rum ta dum dum, da dum dum dum dum...
and it came forever clear...
as the season came so near....

as Christmas Eve...comes the Star...
hold those close, both near and far...
PiP is home, for poets, all...
Passions' home, a manger's stall...

Christmas Eve is nigh
Santa Claus is on his sleigh
Rudolph leads the way
Last seen heading for Colon
To wish Ron Merry Christmas

Chris[ful-'o'fur],
he wished for a mouse,
but who wants one
to run through the house?

Apparently, Ron does
so from bags of tricks,
he gathered up bytes,
and re-arranged bits!

He mixed them all up,
like Santa, he's magic!
I'm sure glad he could,
'twould otherwise be tragic!

you know... it only took me a year, but i noticed that what i took for a well-intented placation was in actuality a snub... you're getting rid of the mouse on this last one!

sigh, and to think i thought good things of you all year Ron.

Hmmm...a snub?
Well, I'm confused but that's nothing new.
Oh well, thought it was worth a try...
