Well, the long-awaited (at least by me!) book of Balladeer poetry is back from the publisher.

The book is currently retailing locally for $12.95. As an internet special, the autographed copy is available for ten bucks, plus 3 more for packaging and normal shipping. Those interested may send check, money order or pints of blood to:

Michael Mack
P.O. Box 190688
Inverrary, Fl 33319

It actually turned out very well, as I believe the Tampa poets will attest to...(I paid them enough!!)

Thanks for your support, fellow PIPpers..

Sorry, Christopher, but there is a maximum order of 100 at this special rate.

Anyway, if you'd be so kind to find out how much extra on postage you need for the Netherlands, I think I might be able to exchange some Euro's to US $. Heck, I have found myself the perfect Xmas present this year!

Michael, again my oft repeated apologies for lack of time in the forums, but i just HAAAAD to give a gentleman's congratulations on a sterling career of poetry, humor and wisdom as only a modern Balladeer could do.

Getting published in book form is a lifetime achievement, and one that assures that somewhere, someone will years from now, be  able to enjoy and savor your life experiences in verse.  You have my admiration and massive congrat's on etching a worthwhile scratch on our humble existence.

all my best, Michael!

Marsha,
this is NOT ebay, I'm sure it's not necessary to outdo me again. Why don't we both buy one or two? Seriously though folks, the book is wonderful. I like Titia curled up with Balladeer everynight, although I was greedy and read more than one poem in a night.

Sorry, Denise...

You may have gotten caught up in a post office snafu. When I opened the box they gave me a price and I paid it. After about a week I received a letter from them that their computer had the wrong pricing in it and I owed more that was due before my box was valid. Problem is they sent that notice the day I took off on a 4-day golf tournament so it was five days before I saw it. Perhaps your letter came at that time. I know that it's working because I have received letters from others so...please try again!

Balladeer,
My sincere congratulations to one who so richly deserves them. Oh, and by the way , to you also! Really though, I think it's just great. Any time one of the poets here gets their words in to print it elevates us all in a sense, as we can then say, "and I knew him/her when...". Best of luck,

Balladeer, I love all of your poems, and if I wasn't flat broke I'd buy a book. I'll just read your free poems and apreciate them. (sorry for being cheap)

Michael, I enjoyed your book emensely! What a marvellous showcase for your immeasurable talent!

After reading your book, I feel as though I have gotten to know you better---and the more I learn--the more I like!

BTW, I was pleasantly surprised to see a picture of my home on the front cover! tehe

I fell asleep last night while reading your poetic works. I awoke to the light of day with my lamp still on and your book lying across my brea-chest! tehe You gave me pleasant dreams!

so now I'm gonna have to wait until after Christmas. I sure do
hope they're not all gone.

Michael,
Finally,  after I got your address again, I've got my check in the envelope, ready to mail. It'll have to be Tuesday now, though, since tomorrow is a holiday.

About how long will it take to get here after you receive my check? Has anyone told you about how long from Florida?

From all these compliments, it sounds like it's really good.
Bye for now.

Balladeer,
Congratulations, again. Do you by any chance accept
Mooster-card? Unfortunately, all the royalties from my first novel are tied up in litigation ( there are some who still think Tolstoy wrote "War and Peace"! Oh well, true genious often goes un-recognized. Glad to hear you've achieved a new status. Now, I suppose,  I'll have to start treating you with a little more respect( emphasis on "little"). Seriously though, congrats, this is both well deserved and befitting of one of your talent.
Doc

Wow, Balladeer! I had no idea you had your own book! Congrats to you, sweety. I would like my own copy, but will have to have you put me on the booklist. If it even has a dent of the poetry I've seen you post here, I know I will be happy with it.

well the answer to this question is probably somewhere in this mountain of replies, but make it easy for me...how many pages are in the book?

Congrats on your accomplishment!

Michael,
heartiest congrats on your new book. I really would love to have one but I cannot begin to tell you how difficult it would be to get it to me in Jamaica. Will have to see how it works out, but I really am happy for you. Having read your poems, I know that it should be a gem.

Have to say I agree with Chris tho. That 'one a nite' comment sets you up for many 'sleeping pill' jokes. heh heh.

A book!  The sweet things I learn on this site.  It doesn not surprise me that you have one... and maybe another since?...because you have such a way with touching what matters in life, be it serious or laughable, so that others are in the midst of it with you!  I would love to have one those books, and I wonder if you sold them all!

Congratulations!  Now let me see, I can give up medication for a couple months (laughter is the best medicine), that'll give me $14.95, then I'll rob my piggy bank for $1, which I'll gladly send for your book.  Since I'm usually too sleepy for hearty laughs when I go to bed, is it ok if I read it with my morning coffee?  Think I can hold myself together for the rest of the day, or are there side effect warnings, like no driving, no shopping or working for 24 hours after reading?

   Rae
Mercy me! I only read page 1 before responding, then see this is a couple years old.  Any books left?
