Lyra and David are in the town where the poet's meeting in Florida is taking place and have lost their directions to where it is.  He called me long distance to find out - can someone help me here he is calling back in about ten minutes. Thank you.  Sharon

omg, no, I don't have any info, except they were all going to Balladeers last I hear. Maybe Michael Mack's phone number is listed?

I just spoke with David and Lyra and gave them the phone number at the villa - That should get them there - I'll check in a bit to make sure all's well...

Ah they finally found you home that's just great news, as poor David was a tad frazzled and Lyra of course was beside herself.  Last word they were eating at Denny's or is that Lenny's       All will be well - thanks everyone of you that emailed your concern.

It looks like that Nan's shone the right way to get them to their destination alright.

Hey thanks Sharon and of course, Nan...
I really thought we were hopelessly lost.
It turned out that we had driven past that villa about 3 or 4 times that day... but we were looking for something that looked more like a condo complex.  We were surprised that it was a single family house...
Marsha and Krissy came to get us and we followed them back and I just couldn't believe that we had driven past there so many times and didn't see the "Welcome Poets" sign on the garage door or the balloons on the mailbox...
But we ended up having a wonderful time...
Of course, for a while there... I wasn't too sure that I would ever talk to David again because he had left the directions at home, saying that he had them memorized in his head.  He does have a photographic memory and he did remember the street name, and he did get us there... except...
We didn't know we were there...
How stooooopid!

I certainly enjoyed meeting you and your husband, Lyra, through Titia's pictures.  They were wonderful, as were all of the photos of the poets.  [Remind me to ask Titia if I may borrow some of her photos for background poems, would you?  They are simply GORGEOUS!!!!]

I'm glad you didn't lose your way home!

Okay, Karilea... I am reminding you to ask Titia to borrow her photos...
I have asked her and she has said yes, but you do need a place to store them because webshots doesn't want people linking to their pics... so you'll need a place to download them to.
