Dear poet people - Today Munda received her copy of her first published poem.  "Monday Musicale," of Michigan City, Indiana, has included her poem "The Gypsy Violin" in their publication....

This is no ordinary poetic accomplishment, folks.  Munda is a life-long resident of The Netherlands - English is her SECOND language.  She nevertheless writes beautifully, in perfect rhyme and meter.  I surely wouldn't want to be doing the same in a language not my own.

Join with me in congratulating her, won't you?

...CONGRATULATIONS, MUNDA...

Now go write a ballad..

GO MUNDA!!!!!! That's really awesome news! I'm with Nan, I couldn't write so well in a second language either. You certainly deserve this recognition!

God bless America, my home sweet home.

Munda...don't know you well, but what an awesome acheivement, I had to pop in and offer congratulations as well. And if the "Nanster" is a bragging on you? I will have to put you on my list of "poets to study"----I wish I knew other languages. French for sex---grin---Italian just because it sounds poetic, and Greek just because I want to know what those guys are actually saying!!!    APPLAUSE.

I just arrived home from painting the new apartment, very tired with a variety of colours all over me, sat down behind this old computer and read all your wonderful words of congratulations and... I'm smiling from ear to ear! Thank you so much! Your words are highly appreciated and yes I am incredibly proud.
However, this may not have happened without the never getting tired of all my questions super teacher Nan. Thanks Nan - you're a fabulous teacher! Also I must thank Ron.   If it wasn't for PIP's main site this dream wouldn't be reality today. Thank you Ron!

Thanks again for all your kind words and yes Nan that ballad - The True Tale of Loch NESS - will be written soon!   As soon as I've moved... umm... before Christmas though.
