The Abington Heights Education Association of northern Pennsylvania has put together a beautiful website dealing with the current tragedy. Not only do you get to see my poem again (shameless self-promotion) but there are very informative articles on how to deal with and explain to children what has happened in a way they can understand. Well done Michael. This senseless act is hard enough for adults to understand, I can't imagine trying to explain it to a child...

This is such an important issue. Our children MUST have a sensitive and appropriate understanding of these issues. Your poem is a superb addition to the site, my friend..
