Still ok here, as well as 1slick_lady(Helen). Our Flag is flying at half mast along with a black ribbon on our tree. As we wait to hear from the Army that the reserves are to be activated to have our eldest son Brian, be taken to battle the men and country that has done this to our great country. And are saying prayers for all the families that have already had a loss within. For we must be strong for the weak and we must be smart for the strength to help, rebuild, and bring these people that did this down. A smile a day keeps the world in smile's. |

hey yall yeah i am here  i am a good 8 hours from nyc. and about 7 from the pentagon. although i do worry about my good friends in my former home in virginia. i have been trying to get a hold of them all day and only go a hold of one. all the lines round there are down. hell lines are messed up here too. and like janet said internet on the east coast is hard to come by. my connection is slow to begin with. but it is at a crawl now. just thought i would check in peace and love jesse jaymz When I was a young man I vowed never to marry until I found the ideal woman. Well, I found her - but, alas, she was waiting for the perfect man. :( |

Charisma, many on your list are fine. They are just getting on with daily activities, as many of us have to do. Keep in mind that our prayers need to go to the folks who work in Emergency Aid - and please, people, see if your areas' Red Cross facilities are taking blood. Be a Donor. Thanks! |

send your kids to their rooms cuz they need to get all the clothes they have outgrown and send it to the cities that were hurt. I betcha got stuff you will never fit into either so send it along. Find out the number to call from your local information services. This is Walt signing out. |

HEy all, I do live in New York, but currently I'm in Boston for college. My brother was two blocks away when the WTC began to collapse. He hid from falling debris under a bus. He walked away, shocked and confused, covered with dust and ashes, but thank God he wasn't hurt. My uncle who works right near the WTC was late for work that morning, so he was lucky. He turned the car around when he heard about it on the radio. My brother's best friend was actually in one of the Twins when the first plane hit. I don't know the details, but he was able to get out and is also all right. It was really horrible. I still can't fully grasp the fact that it happened... |
