As I type this, Marge has come up to post 9995. In just five more posts, she will hit the 10,000 mark. I want to be the first to say a great big congratulations and thank you to her for reaching the milestone and giving such wonderful replies to everyone here. Keep up the good work, Marge! Nan~ Thank you so much for that nice reply. This place is a haven for friendship and wonderful poetry. I figured out that out of the 10,000 posts, about 500(+/-)of them were poems that I've posted and another 1500 in responding to the replies of the wonderful people who read them. Which all translates to mean that I got to reply to roughly 8,000 poems and read another 1000 that I may not have responded to. Do you know how many library books, or trips to the book store that would have taken ? I feel so blessed to have this site, that is so dedicated to poetry, at my fingertips. The easiest part of the experience is the writing of new poetry - The most rewarding part is the reading of poetry written by others. I have grown so in the inspiration of the many poets here. Hope you all can tell that I enjoy this place and the wonderful people here.
