I would like to take this moment to officially welcome all of our newer members to the Blue Pages. I do not get to read very many of your posts, and I reply to even fewer; however, we are certainly glad that you have joined this quite eclectic and talented family. When Passions was started, things were slow enough (or I have been told) that our illustrious leader, Ron, was basically able to deal with things on his own... as time went on, the site grew, and the number of members and posts got to be too many for him to go it alone, so he enlisted volunteers to help him ensure that the poetry on this site followed the guidelines, and that we remained a family-friendly site. Well... WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!! The Moderator team is always looking for new volunteers to help us maintain the guidelines for PIP, and that's where you come in. If you have been with the site for anything over a few months, and have a minimum of 300 posts (poems and replies total), then we invite you to apply to become a Deputy Moderator. By volunteering, you can become a part of this wonderful team and help to keep this the best poetry site on the Net. All you have to do is to click on the "Member's Area" tab at the top of the page, and then click on "Deputy Moderator Application". Thank you in advance for your interest. What would you attempt to do...if you knew you could not fail?. |
