Not me.

I try to keep two calls going at all times. Constantly saying 'waitaminit' and switching back and forth between the two until I'm confused about who I'm talking to -- then we can have a good laugh while I flip off the guy behind me at the intersection who is blowing his horn at me because the light changed over 30 seconds ago.  In-between-I recieve a text message and if it's funny I forward it to everyone in my address book, check my stocks, play a game, and juggle it with my other 2 cell phones.  If the battery runs down while I'm going 75mph down the interstate I start looking around for the 12volt charger adapter, slowing down to about 45 in the process, weaving all over the place, forcing the semi-truck behind me to have to down shift and hit his jake-brake just to keep from rear-ending me while the gravel truck in the adjacent lane has to hit the shoulder to keep from side-swiping me.  Of course -- once I find the adapter -- I have to text all my friends to tell them my battery needs to be charged.

Reb?

That was you?

Sorry bout all the expletives I shouted at you, and the obscene hand gestures, and the Crystal Combo Sunrisers on your windshield. You made me get lipstick in places it shouldn't be, and I lost my call to my mother-who for 12 whole seconds thought I was in an accident, till I called her back.

Unless I work as a police officer someday or part of emergency for a Hospital, as long as I have two feet and a heartbeat I won't ever either stoop to using cellphone or driving a car.  These things make life a violent rush and haste, and I am interested in being part of that as little as possible.

I very seldom drive and I threw the cell phone out last year. It was a bird dog in my estimation and sometimes (well, most of the time) I really like to be left alone to read, sew, sing, or otherwise just enjoy my own company.

I love the violent rush of life!!! Cars - faster, faster, faster!!!

Not only do I answer the phone (I do have bluetooth, for what it's worth), but I also read and write email in my car (Blackberry). I do it in the car, because I spend 3 hours a day driving and figure it shouldn't be wasted time.

I "stoop" to driving and using my cell too....and yeah Kissy, faster hehehehhehe
I can't text and drive yet(don't exactly think that is a good idea), but I can read them if they are short and just call the person.

Why do you still beat small children, Drauntz?

(It's called a loaded question, and is usually considered impolite.)

I ride a motorcycle and only answer my phone at redlights!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Who kindly tells me the meaning of Sir Ron's words,

"Why do you still beat small children, Drauntz?

Sir Ron, why do you have to be against your nice character to be impolite to me?
is there a reason?

Senseless hand
in moonless night
buried a mine
in journey of my thread
sat invisible aside
with motionless heart
and sightless eyes
waiting for its sound
so
He may laugh a falling sky
where sun ducks to hide

I live in a world where I imagine every call is incoming bad news...so I answer most, no matter where I am..

Loaded questions are impolite...

The longer I am here, the more I think I was raised by wolves. Those sorts of questions were considered a game, and method of education in my family. We got extra points for sarcasm too.

And Suze? Nodding. Ringing phones are one of my newer phobias. *hugs*

Came back to answer Ms. D. I still don't drive, (although I have a car) I have a cellphone too--somewhere--it was an inheritance of sorts, and never activated.

The not driving thing actually became a "thing" after years of not driving. (My dad never drove either so it didn't seem weird to me--besides, we once had a very reliable Public Transit System here.)

I was poor, and cars cost money to keep up--and I had an option to be a stay at home mother (which I have never regretted) or go to work to pay for the car and the daycare--and I might have just broke even. And cellphones are lovely in emergencies--but otherwise they are just another nuisance.

will you kindly to tell me what Ron tried to say?

have a nice day, my dear lady!!

*laughing*

Mz. D.? Most days, I need a translator m'self. If it helps you feel better, I make a lot of netiquette mistakes too.

But have a hug--

I quite often feel misunderstood too.
