No, but I sure wish I was!

Ontario, Canada has had some pretty bizarre weather this spring/summer. How's the Carribean this time of year, Gifted?

I told you in the other thread that it was my home away from home until I moved to British Columbia, where for some reason, I got re-climatized?  I couldn't take the heat anymore after living here just one year, and haven't been back there in about 10 years.  That is not to say, it is not my next favorite place to be if not right here at home, it is!  I used to go to Anse Chasanet in St. Luca often as Nick is a friend of ours, and my son actually got married at Sandals there, finally!       Are you anywhere near Jade Mountain?   No where in the world is there water as you have there!  Or music!

Why not get some pictures uploaded to Photobucket, and show the good folks around  when you get time.  By the way, we are glad you found this site, and hope you will enjoy the obvious shenanigans here.

My neighbor is, does that count?

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Hi Larry!  Long time no "see."  You are from Arizona, might as well be the Caribbean?  Just as hot there if not worse on a hot day.

And Sharon(hi dear friend) we don't need the ocean to have the attire either.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Oh cool you've been to St. Lucia.  Both of my parents are natives to the island.  So you speak any patois?

Peace. Love. Forgiveness.

Gifted at one time I would have been a biscuit but now I am just an ole bubu.  I still to this day buy Tang by the case, and we love the stuff! We have Caribbean Days that happens every year in North Vancouver, in B.C. Canada, and it is a total food and music fest. I don't remember much of Patois, but it always come back when you get there really fast, LOL!  Here is my little bong belly pickney for you to see.

Man, did she have a belly ache that day from eating all the patties and corn!  Here is our attempt in Canada to enjoy the fun and music of the Caribbean - and it's a total blast every year! http://www.caribbeandays.ca/

Ok, that's cool, but to experience the caribbean you have to be in the caribbean you know.  By the way...... just wondering how old are you?

Well, I suppose I am old in years, but not in spirit that is for sure.  Actually I am 62 this year, and it's hard for me to believe that, so I refuse to.     I have experienced the Caribbean many times, so it's music, and people are always in my heart.
