This has been done before (thanks PdV) but I am sitting here, ruining my teeth as I suck and munch on one of my all time favorite candies--The Atomic Fireball!

(and if anyone else likes those, izzit just me, or are they not as hot as they useta be?)

But anyway, 'fess up, folks--what's your favorite candy, and do you think it says anything about me personally that my favorite candy is a spicy jawbreaker?

I think your favorite fireball is a distinct character need to find something that is spicier and sweeter than you!

Ok, the candy machine is twirling...what does KJ look for?

Salt water taffy
on occasion...dark Dove chocolate
Skittles

now, talk about salty items, and you'll get a shopping list!

y'know, I've a cute story, when I worked for an attorney who thought my beautiful colored candies were M&M's and were actually Skittles and he grabbed a handful and chucked them down his mouth...

and nothing tasted like chocolate at all!

He thought I was gassing him....

nope

It was really Skittles!  He swore they were M&M's...

My favorite candy is salt water taffy from the CandyMan candy shop in Seaside OR. I also like just about anything from See's Candies and for just plain chocolate I like anything Girardelli or Dove

Not really big on sweets but when I do indulge it's usually Reese's Pieces or bridge mix.

He sure did, Ali.  I won't go into any great detail of the sounds and mannerisms he displayed, but as he was expecting chocolate and got tangy fruit flavors, all I can say is...

it wasn't a pretty picture!

Speaking of raisins, I'm finding that I'm enjoying dried cranberries, too...and just didn't think of that as candy!  Thanks, Larry!

Sour Patch Kids and Sour Blue Bottles... mmmm

"Bunniettes"- a specific type of small chocolate easter bunnies- still working on a bag from the annual Easter stock-up

Twizzler berry flavored pull&peels

Andes Mints- any flavor, the cherry cordial ones are really good.

Just the thread I need while I'm battling the midnight munchies

I usually doesn't do me no candy... however, on them rare occasions that I do indulge, I prefer either the licorice Chuckles, Bit-O-Honey candy bars, or dark chocolate... the darker the better... I found one the other day with 65% cocoa... MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm.......

What would you attempt to do...if you knew you could not fail?.

Most of my favorites don't seem to be around much any more -- Mary Janes, Bonomo's Turkish Taffy, Charleston Chews, Mike and Ike's, Jujubes -- any of the great filling-yanker's.  Maybe they're still East Coast things and the West Coast hasn't caught up yet...

When I feel an overwhelming urge to cheat on my diabetic guidelines, I go for Jelly Belly's, chocolate covered "orange" sticks, and marshmallow peanuts, just not all at once.

My wife's favorite "candy" is Marshmallow Fluff," which she eats with a spoon, straight from the plastic tub.

SB:  And here I thought you would have gone for Red Hots.

Sweetly, Jim

Red Hots are okay, Jim, anything cinnamon gets me goin', but in order of preference:

1. Atomic Fireball

2. Hot Tamales (love that chewiness)

3. Then, in a jam, Red Hots'll do.

spicy sweet!
