They are delicious too.

But before you clobber me, they are truly so beautiful, I swore off the venison long ago.

The only way I could shoot one now is if it was smoking crack.

(And I couldn't help but notice, they have really cute butts! Mike? grin...is YOURS that cute?)

sweet post, Shar!

Seriously cool! Almost makes me wanna give up my motorcycle and move. Thanks for sharing that Sharon. Nancy enjoyed it as much as I did.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Their article states they feel deer can smell whether they're meat eaters or not, so giving up the venison is only part way, Karen. LOL

Thanks for posting it here, Sharon.  It's not as scarey as those bears on your trail.

Well these blizzards here in Vancouver, have more than bears on my trail to Newport Villiage I found out.  It was still light out when I was heading up there last night, and what did I see?  THREE coyotes!  I thought they were dogs at first, until you see that skinny bodies and glaring eyes, and me without a camera!  I think the bears finally got "un-confused" and went to sleep as I haven't seen one lately at all, but Spring will be here soon enough!

I feel so sorry for the animals here right now. Being on a green belt we are not allowed to feed birds, raccoons and such as this will only draw them nearer.  It just breaks my heart to see the birds in this frozen mess.

I knew I should have taken the photo a month ago, when I visited with my grandkids and took them to the park, where I'm sure well over a thousand of Mysteria's Canadian geese were migrating.  Perhaps more.  One was very careful where one stepped!

And they think that every car that stops is going to throw food out to them.

Rae, thank you for sharing them with Sharon, and Sharon?  Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos with us!
