Hello. I am new to the site. I hate to start with such a basic question because I should know the answer to this. I am looking for a poem my mother told me as a child and I have a block. I am sure one of you will know this right away. The poem has been around forever--
It talks about words wear loud shoes (or boots) --and when you call them back they cannot hear you--

Please help. I have a six year old and want to have it back to memory because I know I will need it soon! Thanks in advance for your help.

I've done a search on both of your lines and found nothing anywhere on the internet. Is there a line that you can remember verbatim? That would help in the search..
