Blazey,

Yes, Unfaithful, Walk on the Moon, Big Town, um.. just pull her filmography -- she's another one that just gets better with age...

I pretty much like anything that Sandra Bullock is in but really enjoyed in the YA YA Sisterhood.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we might as well dance.

Robert Duvall in The Apostle.

I thought he was brilliant. And btw? I loved Farrah Fawcet in her role as the prayer weary wife.

That's one of those films I can watch over and over again.

I love the part where Duvall is raging at God in the wee hours of the morning, and his mother gets a phone call from a neighbor and we hear her side of the conversation:

"sometimes he talks with God. Sometimes he argues--tonight he's arguing."

grin...reminded me of my brother. But oh yes, I wanted Duvall to get the Academy vote for that one. I felt his pain when he didn't.

sigh.

And Marissa Tomei stomping out her biological clock in "My Cousin Vinny"--absolutely adorable, as well as her "cute little deer" speech to Vinney. And her stint as "the hostile witness" is forever implanted in my head. (I love her, can ya tell?)

And I should say, "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid" but I say that knowing it needs not be said. Three sexy stars, and the implied familiarity/threesome is a squirm- your-seat intriguing thought.

Yes, yes...Robert Duvall in The Apostle!
Amazing acting. Well, then again his acting is always amazing. I loved him as Gus in the Lonesome Dove series. And, correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it a young Diane Lane as his "Lory darlin'"(short for Lorena) in that series? She's beautiful.

Duvall in Apocaplyse..everybody ducks for cover as shells explode around them, he just stands there, annoyed, waiting for Sheen to get up.

I need to buy that. It's priceless.

There are soo many and I'm sure I'm not remembering most of my favorites but here are a few of them that have come to mind....

"The Notebook" (2004) WOW!!!!

"Frequency" (2000) The last scene of the movie..when they are playing baseball and the Garth Brooks song comes on.  I get choked up.  You have to watch the whole movie to understand.

"A Walk To Remember" (2002)

"Titanic" (1997)  The love that Jack has for Rose.  And Rose's Passion to live.

Disney's "The Blue Yonder" (1985)

"Fly Away Home" (1996)

"Man On Fire" (2004)

"The Man From Snowy River" (1982)

"Ever After" (1998)

"Children of A Lesser God" (1986)

Hmmm....
I have to go think some more!!!!
