March 9, 2005 Have been sick with a cold since Saturday. I went to work Monday and Tuesday sick. So Tuesday I put in my leave form for today and stayed home. So I have been chillin' for the most part. LOL Well work has been going okay for the most part. I do deal with a few trouble children who make you want to pull your hair out. But at least I only work with them Monday, Wednesday and any days Rachel doesn't come to school. The rest of the week I am with Rachel. I go to the job site with her, Feed her, restroom her and so on. But I do get help with the restrooming. Rachel doesn't cause me any problems really. I like my job. Last week a few of my trouble children started getting on my nerves. Ed decided to start bringing up sites with half naked women on them. That totally repulsed me. Of course the teacher banned him from the computer for the rest of the class period. Then another day I was helping over in Coach Cox's room. I come back and Josh, Ed, Jereamie and Dante were talking about obscene subjects. I tried to get them to change the subject. But they did not want to listen to me. Finally the teacher said they could not talk the rest of the period. Jereamie even back mouthed me and said I wasn't doing my job because I would not help him a test.Then this Monday I go to get on the computer and the wallpaper saved was of a half naked woman on a bed. I would bet Ed saved that as the wallpaper. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......... I needed to let some frustration go. My sister and my niece Alayna came up on Sunday for a visit. Alayna is almost 2 years old. Jennifer torn down the wallpaper in the main bathroom and painted it a light yellow while she was here. it looks much better now. Now just to do the bathroom in the master badroom. We watched plenty of Disney movies with Alayna. I played dolls with her. It was fun. They just left a couple of hours ago.  (angel friendship hugs) Yay! Awwwwwww, I'm soooooo happy you decided to start a journal of your own here! I love getting to know all my friends here better, for to know someone is to appreciate someone more. Your job sounds wonderful. Indeed it takes a lot of patience to care for children, but though it can always prove to be a challenge, children truly are God's most beautiful creation. (giggles) Yep, I know many young curious kids like Ed! I believe it's natural to be curious about those sorts of things as you grow up, but, yes, you want to make sure he doesn't reveal those sorts of pictures in class! Awwwwwww, Alayna sounds soooooo adorable. There's a cute little girl named Anabella who's six years old who lives next door to us and she always loves to come over. She's sooooooo cute when she's jump-roping in the living room in her pajamas and singing Disney songs. And she's also soooooooo smart and sooooooo polite. Alayna seems like she's as sweet as her! I would think that in a school they can block those adult sites...see if that is possible... You sound like you are doing what I did two years ago as a theraputic staff support and could only last about 2 months...mainly because the other teachers left all the trouble up to me to take care of and there were only a total of 9 children in that class...I could have handled them all alone. So when I did do what was necessary I guess I stepped on their toes. I think they spoil the teachers in special classes with too much outside help. But that is my opinion. Keep up the good work and I hope you feel better soon. M |

March 20,2005 Well it is now Spring Break for everybody. A week I don't have to get up at 5:40 AM and stay awake all day. All I have to do is make sure the house gets clean and the cats stay happy. Oh, and make sure Dad takes his medicine and vitamins. Then for the weekend my 2 best friends are gonna stay with me while my parents are in South Carolina. Let the fun begin!!!!!!!" Shelby got a water filled cyst cut out on Thursday. She is my one and only female kitty out of the 4. At least it was not cancer. That made me happy. So now she has an incision with 6 stitches holding it together. So I know my baby kitty is uncomfortable. But she shall live on a few more years at least. I have lost my poetical muse again. That is why I have not posted anymore new poetry. I need something to happen to get my poetical muse to kick in again. Hopefully it will come back soon. Until then I will read when I can. I have not had to deal with my problem children at my job for awhile. They either aren't at school or they are calm and peaceful. Which makes me happy that I do not have to keep on getting on their case. Rachel is doing okay. She had been dealing with a cold all last week. The rain that came through didn't help though. We got drenched on Thursday when we were going back to school from the job site. The angle of the rain made it where the umbrella wasn't helping. So I hope she feels better by next week.
