I haven't been here in roughly...3---4 years? And I decided to check back here, just to see what's going on.

And it's kinda amazing...thinking about how I was when I was a more active poster here, what I liked...who I was---what I was like...and looking at myself now. Huh, anyone else do that?

Does anyone remember me, even? :P

What's even more remarkable is to look back and to see what everyday friends I now have because of pipTalk. Those friends DEEPLY affected me as who I've become---and who I am now.

It's funny how things work like this...

I'm finding it really neat how some of the people I remember from before are still on here!

I unno...I used to rely on this place for release with all the bad things that were going on in my life. Now that alot of those things are either gone...or evolved, I don't know...I enjoy the familiarity.

The deeper we go, the harder it gets.

I've got to admit, my life wouldn't be nearly the same if I hadn't ever met you, Alex.  Garden City is to me an entire universe of characters to whom you were the doorway.  I've lost touch with all of them by now, but hey, the memories (not to mention the grudges) last a lifetime.

I saw Rimma on the bus recently.  Did you know she's going into business school?

And Cherish?  I thought you fell off the face of the planet.  Can we chat sometime?

I, too, at one time felt this was a place of release and getting ideas, but, I am so ignored, bout the only time I get a howdy, save from 2 people (Ringo and Raph), is when I'm in trouble, lol.

If home is where the heart is,,,,,I guess the corner bar is where the mind wanders off to
