Has anyone been watching Jeapordy lately? Ken Jennings has won over a million dollars in 30 days on the show. This guy is quick as a whip.

At this point I think alot of it has to do with the other contestants being psyched out. It's nerveracking enough being on Jeopardy your first time, but to have to go up against him to boot? I had to laugh the other day, it's gotten to the point where Jenning's felt he had to fake having trouble with a response ot two. lol

I've been watching him win since day one!

This guy is amazing, I'd marry him.

Wow I never realized how many people watched that show until lately.  I knew my neighbour did and she goes just nuts when this guy wins again, I can hear through my windows.  However, it is now the topic of conversation at Safeway, the butcher, the hairdresser, etc.  I agree with Raph (I don't watch the show but I promise to catch it next week) but if I was going to be on a show where a guy was winning for the 30 something time, I would throw in my towel I think.

Well, Ken won't be back until September 6th (??!!) now... today they had those college championships, and I tell ya... these ivy league students are idiots! I wish I could just throw a book at their heads in hopes that they'd actually, uh, read or something...

I know that I'm all late and everything, but how what day did this guy finally lose and how much did he end up winning?

He didn't lose.... I think there's been some massive Jeopardy vacation or something. They've been showing reruns. Tune back in on Sept. 6th, that's when he'll be back.

Thanks hush.  I had watched the show maybe once or twice a week and then one week he wasn't on anymore so I'm like "he lost?"
Thanks again for the info...

I saw Ken Jennings lose the other day and remembered this thread.  Thought I would bump it up.

Ken Jennings now holds the records for the longest winning streak (74 consecutive wins) and the most money won ($2,522,700) on not only the game show Jeopardy, but all other various game show records.
(More Information)

Wow!

Happy Holidays!

it is also my opinion that Ken was asked to lose on purpose. He answered the question "What company's employees only have to work 4 months out of the year?" He answered fedex *scratches head* i'm sure that he knew the answer but was either tired of being on television or the producers of the show asked him to throw the game.
but that's my opinion

rinse and repeat
