Love is letting go of self and immersing your heart in compassion and service for others.  Love is forgetting what you want and desiring what is best for others.  Love is all encompassing.  Funny thing, the more you give to others, the more you receive back.  Thus by letting go of the desires to please yourself, you end up receiving great pleasure and a sense of being well loved.

Love is letting others be who they are and still accepting them.  Love is coming to know who you are and embracing your goodness and working to free yourself from those traits which do not bring you peace.

Romantic love is nice, but short lived.  To know the true depth of love, you must move beyond the chemical and into the spiritual.

Love cannot be commanded, it must be given.

Love is all around you and all inside of you.  Love is like karma, what is given is what is received.

Funny thing, the more you love, the more capacity you have for loving.

Okay, that is my thoughts on love.  I am blessed to be surrounded by love.  And as I read books such as "living a life of compassion" by the Dalai Lama, I find that love becomes even more all encompassing within my life.  It is most joyous.

May love bless you.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Love is a keyhole,

And we are the key.
