Hello..I'm new...so... please bare with me, but I have tried to post a comment on someones work in one of the forums and it hasn't posted. Am I able to comment in the critique forum? Or does it take a while for the comment to be posted?

Also, I'd like to say hello to everyone and I am sure I will enjoy posting here!

regards
colbalt

HI colbalt! Your reply did work in the Critque Forum. Do you have your cookies set right to refresh everytime you post? You may want to go back and check it out.

We're glad you found us! If you write, it's going to be a pleasure to read you, but if you're just a reader (we have a lot of those) we hope you'll enjoy yourself. Please feel free to join in the discussion groups also!

Welcome to 'our blue heaven'!

Hello Poet deVine, thank you for replying. I now have gone back and checked and the posts are there! Perhaps I had a touch of impatience for a moment! lol
Yes I do write aswell as read. I'm going to take a look around first, in this 'blue heaven' - smiles...then hopefully, I will post something.
I also wonder if you have a chat room dedicated to poetry here?

Anyway..it's nice to meet you!

When you post, you should see a screen that says "Thank you for posting, cobalt..."  That will tell you that your comment registered with the forum software.  If you don't see your comment immediately, try holding down the shift key as you refresh your window.

You may have a server that controls your window's update timing.  AOL is a big offender in doing this, but I see that you're not an AOL user... Still - This method could help... Welcome to Passions in Poetry, at any rate...

Another quick thing you can do to refresh your page immediately is to add a ? at the end of the hyperlink...

sometimes the replies don't show up immediately - something to do with ISP's and caches and other stuff lol..

? will do the trick though..
