was that the second edition??? I would have sworn it was the first...
well.. then the first had to be dedicated to Freud..for deciding that women envied the equipment men had...
why in the world would any woman envy a man's tool belt?

Meg... the personality type is categorized and explained in a link on the page...
INFJ... and obviosly very introverted
strongly intuitive and then more a balance on the rest.
Jung theorized that the human population fell into types..when it came to personalities. He devised a method to test and put people into the proper type group, which helped them understand themselves and understand people around them better.

here... read the description for an INFJ..and see if it makes sense to who you think or know you are.

INFJ... description
Beneath the quiet exterior, INFJs hold deep convictions about the weightier matters of life. Those who are activists -- INFJs gravitate toward such a role -- are there for the cause, not for personal glory or political power.
INFJs are champions of the oppressed and downtrodden. They often are found in the wake of an emergency, rescuing those who are in acute distress. INFJs may fantasize about getting revenge on those who victimize the defenseless. The concept of 'poetic j ustice' is appealing to the INFJ.

"There's something rotten in Denmark." Accurately suspicious about others' motives, INFJs are not easily led. These are the people that you can rarely fool any of the time. Though affable and sympathetic to most, INFJs are selective about their friends . Such a friendship is a symbiotic bond that transcends mere words.

INFJs have a knack for fluency in language and facility in communication. In addition, nonverbal sensitivity enables the INFJ to know and be known by others intimately.

Writing, counseling, public service and even politics are areas where INFJs frequently find their niche.

Serenity,

Boy, that was boring. I'm kind of this way, kind of that way. Gee. I already knew that.

Face it, Jung is boring.

giggles...

Brad? I believe that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me!

but yanno? It's true, I have this secret identity--I sit here in my robe with rawhide bones in the pockets (for the puppy who prefers to chew on my books) horned-rimmed bi-focals and textbooks scattered everywhere...

For real fun tho, I've got a copy of The Oxford History of the Biblical World to munch on tonight.

(rubbing my hands together gleefully)

ooooooooooh

party party party...

Don't tell anyone tho--you'll ruin my reputation.

"Who am I?"

Oh who the hell cares?

yer absolutely right Brad.

An insatiable appetite for intellectual stimulation?

hmmmm...

I prefer another kind...

Why?

Because all I have to remember is a name..

Susan?

I was never good at names.

"What was your name again?"

Oh...that's right.
