about $5.5 million will do. I'd like to buy 'Tortilla Flats'AZ. A town that I am going to convert into our very own Poetry PiP Town.

Cashier's checks only please! LOL

Ok...so I know you're not going to loan me the money but it was worth a try! It's for sale on Ebay by the way.

This sounds oddly familiar for some reason....could it be due to these?

And probably a few more that I missed. For some reason, I'm seeing a trend here....

There is a town (Wilson) west of Salina on Interstate 70 known as the Czech capital of Kansas.. you might be able to get a Czech or two there.  Don't know about 5.5 million, I think there are only around 800 Czechs in the whole town... but it might be a start.  Don't think they are really into tortilla's (flat or otherwise) though...

(don't even ask, it has been a very long day)

Repeat after me, "I am not too nice, not too nice, not too nice" and go to bed!  I will not be lending you that money any time soon, but very glad to see you are enjoying eBay, for some reason I am killing myself laughing

Shouldn't be a problem, Sharon. Go ahead and start bidding. We'll back you up all the way.

Wowzers... for a whole town?... I think an acre of oceanfront would cost that here... I must be in the wrong place...

Apples and oranges, Nan.

I suspect an acre of oceanfront in Arizona would be pretty much priceless.

An acre of oceanfront is NOT such an outlandish idea. Just one good earthquake and bye bye California, hello Tortilla Beach!

Let's see ...

Sharon wants $5.5M, allegedly for a town in Arizona. So she can convert it into a haven for poets.

Then she links to a bar for sale in New Mexico?

I just got through reconciling my checkbook... and it looks like I should have and extra... hmmmmm *one last look*... $4.53 that I can send you. I hope it will help.
