It's official, "So help me God." I have passed all the requirements, have sworn an Oath to defend my country and it's citizens and am now an enlisted US Marine, Class E-1, aka Private. Granted being in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP), I will ship out the beginning of December, and not tomorrow, but that is to give my time to prepare mentally, physically, and emotionally for BASIC Training.

I'm terrified, frightened, exhilirated, happy, proud, nervous, anxious, all wrapped into one large mess.   Just wanted to share the news.

Semper Fi.

Titus, your second family here is very proud of you.  You've just opened the door into a fantastic future.  With your communication abilities, your skills of intelligent wit and understanding, you are not only going to be a good Marine, but an excellent leader.

Your time at Passions will be limited, but when you do get a chance to come back and update us, chock it full, ok?

Titus, I hardly know you, but I sure am proud of you, too!! I have a nephew in the Marines, too. He loves it.

Congratulations, Private Redding!

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be

I'm tired form the stress of this last week, but I wanted to thank everyone for the amazing support. It means the world to me. Thank you all so much.

I'm afraid, but also confident in myself, and that matter's most.

Semper Fi, goodnight.

Lovebug- It is a great idea to write o him, however, he won't be able to post his address. He won't be allowed anywhere near a computer for 90 dys, and he won't know his address until he gets there.
WhatI will suggest, though, Daniel, is have your parents, or a friend, or someone jump onhere as soon as you get there and send them the postcard with your address, and let us know.
Good luck in Boot Camp, and remember, it ONLY happens if you want it badly enough... no matter how rough it gets, keep in your mind that you CAN do it, and tht you WILL do it, and thngs will go your way.
