1.  My son, smiling at me with such innocence
2.  Seeing flowers in bloom which I had planted
3.  To be alone and feel alone but not lonely
4.  Breeze upon my face
5.  Rain

a love nudge from a horse
a smile from my daughter
a rainbow
a cool breeze on a sultry day
three coins in MY fountain (???)
a passionate kiss
the thought of another day coming my way
a good strong cup of coffee
a passionate write
a passionate dream
a passionate...
I need another cup of java

-anything from a horse, especially the wind hitting my face while we're galloping down the road
-knowing that even though it hurts right now, I will be okay
-knowing that I have found the ability to be happy again

(short list I know, but I've been so closed up from myself lately that even these three things are big to me )

1. Stareing out the window on a rainy day.
2. The feeling of beeing high in the air with no risk of falling.

3. walking, and knowing I'm alone
4. going unreconized(probably the strangest one)
5. people like me
6. meeting someone who I intimidate
7. creating something tragicly beautiful
8. the sound of the acoustick guitar(exept when I play it. I make it sound like a dieing cat )
9. being cold, but not numb
10. being told I write, or draw, or sing like someone I admire
(ok, my list is scary, but it's the truth. I'm a strange person. Wow, I just learned a lot about myself. I liked reading the other ones too)

Don't it allways seem to go,
that you don't know what you've got till' it's gone

Being by water...hearing the waves, current, ripples, etc.

The way sunshine and wind feel on my skin.

Driving with the windows down at night
and the tunes turned up loud.

Rain at night.

Mark's voice on the phone..or when he plays his guitar or native american flute for me.

The sound of my kids laughter.

When someone tells me I have really great kids.(gratefully, it happends a lot)

When I write a poem.

Reading poetry.

The contentment found in the connections of friendship.

1. My nephew's cheeky grin.
2. Waking up every morning, never knowing what the day will bring.
3. Being greeted by my (very excitable) dogs, even if I've only been gone five minutes!
4. Memories.
5. Being warm in bed and not having to get up.

There's a start. Might think of some more later.

2) Having the freedom to have a purple bedroom (I dare anyone to figure out the meaning behind that).
3) Starbucks Ice cream under the blanket, while watching a great movie.
4) Being told that I am a beautiful person and knowing they truely mean what they say
5) Feeling a warm hand on the small of my back
6) Having him cup my face while he kisses me
7) Sunshine, good music and the ocean
8) #5 & 6 together on the beach on a sunny day....um...dang

Hmmmm....

It wasn't sex. (not even sex in vinyl, Raph.)

(not even sex in vinyl with a Brit--or an Aussie.) Though it IS intriguing.

I read all of these and I think the thing that hit the closest home to me was Raph's answer of a baby's eyes.

Something about that, yanno?

Just makes me happy.

early mornings, before anyone else is up

cold crisp Fall day, foggy, knowing rain is a definate...you can smell it

the smell of baking bread

walking on the beach, when it's cold and grey out....again, the fog...knowing I can walk as far as I can, without running into another soul.

old houses

antiques

old books

old pictures

rainy day, an all day rain

funny movies

the sound of Prince singing when I have headphones on, and no one bothering me

touch...

the sound of my husband's voice

thunderstorms

going to the beauty shop and feeling pampered

definately having my hair brushed or just messed with....(it puts me to sleep)

hearing my friend call me Sue Bee

dancing

Italian food

Mexican food

bubble gum ice cream

bunnies

being loved....

ok, that's all I can think of right now...

Anyway, I used to drink a lot when I partied all the time...but I'm happier now and don't have the after morning hang-overs any more. It feels good, too!!!!!

All I have to do is think about Gary all the time and I am very  happy. I know that sounds so corny, but it really is true. It's when I let the past cloud up my mind that I get unhappy.
