Here is a list of ‘state’ birds. Name the state without looking them up!!!

Robin
Ring necked pheasant
Mountain Bluebird
Purple Finch
Mockingbird
Cardinal

I don't know any of them. But I know which state the common loon is for! Now who ELSE knows that?

I should know a couple of them, but I have to admit I don't pay attention to this particular info... I was even TOLD about the cardinal just yesterday... Go figure - But I do know my own... It's the turkey...

I have no clue.

I am sure however that the state bird for California is best demonstrated by the middle finger, usually from behind the steering wheel...

Cardinal is one that applies to many states, I believe, West Virginia being one of them

My state has the eastern goldfinch. A lovely bird, but I rarely see it. I guess the city aint a good place for them, it is a bit durty here cuzz all them trash.

Not sure what state they are each from, but I would look in the following trees,
sugar maple,
white spruce,
western white pine,
paper birch,
sweet pecan,
buckeye.

um, i think that they are as follows. Some of the birds are the state birds of multiple states.


Robin-Michigan (american)and wisconsin
Ring necked pheasant-S.dakota
Mountain Bluebird- Idaho
Purple Finch-New Hampshire,
Mockingbird-arkansas, florida, mississippi, tennessee, texas,
Cardinal-W. Virginia,ohio, n. carolina,kentucky, indianna, illinios.
