I recently joined my school's debate team... Now, mind you, that would make me an unexpirenced Novice debator.... and my coach is insane. State quals were this weekend (saturday) and they needed another team to go... so he sent me and this girl named Marie... yeah, what fun. Our first round, we debated Princeton, and we ran IDEA (we were AFF) and we lost... our second round, we debated Centerville, I think, and they ran Natives (Native american health care expansion) and we were Neg and we lost... then we debated the other Centerville team and we were AFF and we ran IDEA and we lost... then we debated the same princeton team and they ran something... I'm not sure what... and it was long. My first roudn was almost TWO HOURS. AHHHHHHHHHH. And we pissed off our last judge and we had to lug our tubs around to every room and we had a two minute lunch break... AHHH.
