Hey ya'll. I didn't know this place was here. Does anybody
ever come back her? (Now why did I say "back" here?? I guess because
it's called a lounge and lounges are usually "back" somewhere... )
Hey, I'd better go to bed...I'm answering myself now...
Goodnight ya'll.

hey ethel!

My name is serenity and I'll be your waitress for this evening. Our specials this evening are two-for-one until 7:00 p.m. If you get REALLY happy during happy hour and decide to stick around, the band starts at 10:30 during which time we'll be running specials on "shooters", I believe there's three--1$ shots, for "sex on the beach",
"screaming orgasm", and "kamakaze"--and if you stick around until midnight, we will have our famous "shoot the gold" contest--if ya like tequila, this is the place to be.  Wet t-shirt contest at 2:00 a.m, the "briefs or boxers" contest at 3:00--and if you decide you want to live here, the second band cranks up at 3:30 at which time our kitchen opens and we begin our breakfast specials. So...ethel, what'll you have?

ethel? ETHEL??? Where'd she go? (aw man, I scared off another one! )

Good thing, too. Ain't no way I can afford a liquor license for this place, Karen. And I wouldn't even know what kind of license I'd need for your idea of, uh, entertainment.

I don't mind if ya'll do. That is, if Ron will be able to
get the "liquor license" for ya'll.
I do still simply  LOVE  to talk, though, and I wouldn't mind having a good
breakfast special around 3:30 in the morning sometimes, either......
especially on those nights when I'm not with Gary and am having insomnia...

Say...you need a job? I'm pulling two sections tonight--Lana called out "sick" again-- --and we prolly won't invite her "highness" back.

Let me know. The tips are good, *whispering* if you can stand the band!

lemme know...I've got to get hopping. By the way, the Evian's on me!

/jen/? I was kicked out of a place once.

Lessee...once I was kicked out of the neighborhood pub for views against racism. I was told to get my blank-lovin' expletive behind out of there. I didn't let the door hit me in my blank-lovin' expletive behind either.

And then there was the time, the band played the Holiday Inn, New Year's Eve in the French Quarter. They played to a sugarbowl football crowd. Seems there was some misunderstanding. The management thought they were booking a country music band. Heh. They were wrong. And actually, I personally wasn't kicked out. But..after the lead guitar player was arrested, and the majority of the road crew was ousted from the facilities, I had to kick off my heels and move equipment. AGAIN. The management graciously allowed the crew to work with me but only through the service elevator. (a comical scene from that night--picture serenity, hands on hips, watching HER lead guitar player being taken away in handcuffs, hands on hips, demanding, "WHAT'S THE CHARGES?" And the manager, who spoke little English, patted me on the head, and said, "No charge for nice young lady like you." Oh well. At least I got to drink free.)

OH...and then there was the time I accidently set the bar on fire.
Yanno those flaming jellybean drinks? Well I blew it out alright. Right out of the shot glass and into the napkin dispenser. woosh.

I told the bartender that the shot was defective.

And then there was the time I went to my regular stop after work, downtown, only to find the place had been rented out for a bachelor party. OH. Wait. I wasn't kicked out of there. grin. I became the entertainment.

So many stories...so little time.

Hey, everybody......where are you????

Is everybody hiding from me?  Uh-oh.....
wonder what's wrong? (sniff)

Did everybody go home to take a shower so that we could meet back here at the lounge tomorrow?? Wonder if Karen's gonna serve breakfast?? Wonder if I'm supposed to be the waitress and serve breakfast tomorrow??
Wonder if I ought to just go on to bed and forget about it??  Yeah, probably so......
Yep, I'd better get some sleep, since I'm answering myself now.
Hey, that reminds me of a good joke. Does anybody have any good jokes here at the lounge?? uh-oh..there I go again.
Bye before I get started again......

Goodnight and sweet dreams, all...

Wink Wink Can you imagine Serenity being a boy? I would be pretty afraid of him.

Wind, you are so funny. Yeah, I'll bet Serenity would really
be a mess if she was a boy (I mean that in a cute way, Karen)....

Do you know what, I thought that Salty was a boy until I saw her
picture. I haven't told anybody else that, Liz. I wonder if anybody
else is going to know that I thought that now?? HaHa!!
Well, talk to you later, friend...

ROTFL!!! I just happened to pop into this thread tonight. Boy, have I been asleep or what? You guys have been having this huge party and I didn't even get an email invite?!
Ron, I don't think anyone can afford Karen's entertainment show, though no doubt there would be a few who would show up and try to run a tab. ROTFLMAO. (No names to be revealed, not even mine.)

I saw that gg.  I used to go by Saltygirl, but just dropped the girl part.  I did some research for my Dad and the Navy veterans, and they call everything salty...so that is where my name came from.

I get called a lot of things actually.. and with good reason.

I believe Serenity drank to much and got sick, or she is mad about the boy joke, she hasen't been back here for a couple of days.
Or maybe we left her at the zoo.

Serenity wheres's my drink girl?

She never did train me for the waitress job and I have NO  IDEA  what I'm supposed to do back here. Where's Kacy?? She didn't ever say if she wanted to help with the waitressing job or not.

Lets take this show on the road.
An all girl band
Serenity on Vocals
Ethel on Lead Guitar
Salty on Drums
Kacy on Base Guitar
Wind on Tamborine

Christopher and I can be the managers.
Anybody got a good name for the group?

We could get a tour bus and have a rocking good time.

Oh Goodie....AN ALL GIRL BAND!!!  I would love to play the drums.  I think we shall be called  wssgk  featuring *Winds of salty serenity* by  gg & kc.

About the Elvis impersonators My sister and I thought of dressing up like Elvis and selling Elvis Herbs in the mall.  Take your ordinary B12 and put his picture on it...and you could have a Gold mine. Especially if you had the nerve to sing a song while selling.  My sister already rewrote one of his for the occasion.  Let me see If I can find her and have her sing it for you.

Hey only 247 more glasses to wash.....YOU PEOPLE CAN DO SOME DRINKING CAN"T YOU?

Um Ethel? sweetie, you just use this soft brush...no dust pan for the table, the green is cloth.

And hmmm...
the band thing, will this interfere with my other band? (I've got this little thing going now called The Blaze Blues Band--look for us at a roadhouse near you, um, behind the chickenwire)

but lessee...Paul? C? Get together a schedule, and I'll see if I can work with it--and ladies? Band practice tonight at eight--my place, okay? I'm moving the couch so we can plug up the amps. Let's just see what kind of sound we can get together, then we'll worry about a name. God/dess knows, we've got enough lyrics to play with...do we have somebody on keys? The sustain on my piano needs some work, but otherwise it's pretty much in tune, but I do have a Yamaha keyboard too. Oh...and if anybody has extra amps? The Peavey blew a fuse last week when the hubby hit a bad note, (imagine that, wry typing) We could also use some mic stands. C? Can you run sound? I like a little reverb effect on some tunes. And? If we can get something going? I'd like to make a little run up the East Coast, I figure, we can start in Florida, say, around spring break? and just head up the coast from there, and hit the beach towns along the way...

OH...and I need dry ice for the fog machine.

Let's get ready to Rock!!!

AAAAIIIIIIYEEEEEEEEEEE! (serenity's war cry)

Oh? and Salty? I had an Elvis marketing idea too. I envisioned a line of um, Personal products for ladies, (in the way of um, toys nudge-nudge-wink)

I figured if we could put the TCB symbol on one of them things, and make it musical, say, to the tune of "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" We could've made a small fortune.

Unfortunately tho, the Presley Estate is kinda funny about that.

About band practice, I'll be there.....
And Salty (girlie), that name's a good idea... and the Elvis herbs. ......
but now, the idea you have, Serenity, could make  MILLIONS, I'm sure......
See ya'll later...

"Managing" (oh, and the connotations of that word) an all-girl band is dangerous enough... allowing me near spring break??? you'd be minus one manager.

ah, just as well... i don't do well as background noise. my ego's too, ahem, demanding.

Kielo~ So you want to audition for the band.
We could use a piano player if you know a little boogy woogy.

Check with Serenity, she is in charge of all auditions and told me we need a good keyboard player

Christopher...Spring time in Fla. sounds great to me.I'll bring the sun tan lotion.

Salty~ Being a charter member of our group you are entitled to a sample Elvis thingy.

Ethel Since you live in Fla. maybe you can get us a deal at the Y on some rooms.

Paul, I'll go check right now and see if they've got any rooms...but the  "Y"...don't you think this group is a little wild for the Y...Or do they have rules???

Kielo, did you make the audition for the keyboards yet??

Christopher, you'll just have to wait about the girls at Sringbreak, until we're through with our band run up the East Coast..then you can come back down to Florida...the girls will still be there...

Serenity, where are you ???   Did I dust the pool tables good enough.....

Hey, Salty, did you finish all those glasses?? Everybody's wanting more drinks...

Hey, I forgot band practice tonight. I promise I'll be there next time......
I'll see everybody later.....

Hi..

I just read your poem (a good one, by the way..it does sound like a story..and where are more??)

And, I still kinda like the idea. I'll bet that the good times (out on the road) outweighed the bad times....are did they???

Well, I'm going to Open Forums to read some poems before I get started today.....

I'll see ya'll back here later...
