I was referred to this little gem by a friend.

Temperament Test

While a multiple-choice format is hardly ideal, the "type" that I was given based on my answers was pretty accurate given the inherent margin for error.

I am a "Rationalist."  You?

Caprice?

I couldn't take the test.

(Therefore I failed?)

But really...from the first question, I knew I could not possibly answer.

I'm afraid that I am not the best judge of myself. but...if it helps? I am considered, "by a couple of pro's" to be a "Type T" personality---...

I'm not really serenity. I just play "serene" on the internet. BADLY.

I sometimes read, but  never participate in any type of discussion thread.  However, this particular subject captured my attention. I did take the test and am not surprised to find out that I am an idealist.

Thanks for the link!

Considering the content of this site, I expected to find a good number of idealists ... but I suppose we rationalists are capable of a poetic blurb now and then (not that I've given any of you material to judge me on yet).

I shall have to brush up on the poetry of Nicole, Severn, and Irie to see what is expected of a Rational Poet around here.  I wonder if I'll find any similarities?

As to the "undetermineds," you must at least tell us what types you were tied in (which is what made you undetermined).  I was a Rationalist by a mere two-point margin over my Idealist score ...

Hedonists want to be free, not tied down, confined, or obligated, to do as they wish when they wish, to enjoy today, to be impulsive, to have a life of action which repudiates long term goals, objectives, or plans, to be active just to be active, to do what they feel the urge to do, to experience excitement, to be seen by others as being free to act, as free spirits, to be exciting, optimistic, cheerful, light-hearted, and full of fun

Wow. Knew I would be a idealist, but didn't think it would be so far ahead of rationalist... My personality type (according to the meyers-briggs test thing we did in school) is INFP, or introverted, intuitive, feeling, perceptive. Although for the feeling part thinking was really close. This essentially means that I am very introspective, I am intuitive in that I have an innate understand of things, I tend to go with my heart than with my mind(although this isn't entirely true, to me the ends DO justify the means), and I take things in as they come along, rather than preparing for things. I think that test was on the same site as the one everyone here took... I'm interested to know how you guys rate on the Meyers-Briggs test.
