Okay, I notice a trend in asking for favorite songs. And I'm not scrolling back far enough in the history of this to see if this has been asked, 'cause I is lazy. Hey, it's my birthday, what do you want?

What are your absolute favorite sexy songs?

Mine:

Religion by Bif Naked
Over You by Bif Naked
Lucky by Bif Naked
Vampire by Bif Naked
The Kiss (even if it's sooo dark) by Cure
Torture by Cure
Fascination Street (again, soooo dark) by Cure
closer (in a very twisted way) by Nine Inch Nails
Love Me to Death by Type O Negative
Die With Me by Type O Negative
Wolf Moon by Type O Negative (prolly at odds with Mike about this one )
Fumbling Towards Ecstasy by Sarah McLachlan
Flowers Become Screens by Delerium
Incantation by Delerium
Duende by Delerium
Bedtime Stories by Madonna
Erotica by Madonna
A Dangerous Game from Jekyll & Hyde
Surrender by Depeche Mode
Dead of Night (dangerously so!) by Depeche Mode

Now lemme hear yours!

Gigantic - Pixies  Twisted!
Home - Depeche Mode   Yum!
Strawberry Fields Forever - The Beatles   Why do I find this song sexy? What is my problem?
One Way or Another - Blondie  ... not their sexiest moment (that would probably go to Fade Away and Radiate), but up there!
Tame - Pixies   TWISTED!!!
Divine Hammer - The Breeders   Kim Deal oo!
Behind the Wheel - Depeche Mode  YES!
Enjoy the Silence - Depeche Mode  Of course
All th' Biffy songs Lori picked  (melt)
Pretty much anything by Faith and the Muse (me bad)
Uh ....

Lots of Type O! (that's my signature, too)
Prince Prince Prince Prince Prince Madonna Madonna

..... so much stuff. But I'm sick of writin' lists. Just come over an' listen sometime.

Laters!

An addendum:

grrl goth songs like Say and Red or Dead by The Morgans, and anything by Lucyfix.

Also, Steinman's entire career. From college musical (that got him failed out of college for the fifth and final time) Dream Engine, through both Bat Out of Hells, to the German hit musical, Tanz der Vampire. Steinman oozes sex and youth and eternity through every word he ever writes. I have spoken.

MARVIN GAYE? REALLY? OH YEAH, BABY!!!!

Let's get it on...

Actually, tho, that one always makes me laugh too much to be considered truly sexy...hmmm...if we are talking about music to make love by? It's gotta be classical--preferably Bach. It always makes me feel like I'm in a movie...and then I wanna whisper things in French...and then I wanna...OH. Excuse me. I'll be bach. Er...I mean, BACK!!!!

Too many songs by the Purple One (Prince) to name but the few that stand out are

"Erotic City", "Irresistable Bitch", and there is something sooo intimate AND romantic about his song "If I Was your Girlfriend..."

Hey, don't forget Prince's Insatiable (Batman soundtrack). Or 7. Or Gett Off. Or Cream. Or Lady Cab Driver. Or Let's Pretend We're Married. Or Darling Nikki. Or .... When 2 R in Love, or yes, lots of them.

And Marvin Gaye wrote a lot more than just Let It Get On, sen. (like the whole What's Going On album, and I Heard It Through the Grape Vine, and Ain't Nothing But the Real Thing) Thank god!

The song of silence...but for breath.

One blaze of glory - glory
find
glory
in a song that rings true
truth like a blazing fire
an eternal flame

Hmmm... The Kiss? Yeah.... its the spontenaiety and the savagery of the song that makes it sexy, not the lyrics, in my opinion.

Edge of the Deep Green Sea is pretty sexy too... for the sheer desperation.... it would be great for a clinging never-let-me-go encounter.

The entire Album "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd.

And... um... Happiness is a Warm Gun... hope that isn't too weird...

Who is John Galt?

Ok, I think it's official - a date with "hush" would be a unique and unforgettable experience! (and I mean that as the highest form of compliment, my dear )

"happiness is a warm gun" lmao - I love it!!

Slept So Long by Jay Gordon of Orgy
I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by Surprise
& Touching you makes me feel alive
& Touching you makes me die inside

Want by Disturbed
Your mind won't let you say that you want me
Your mind won't even let you feel
Quivering now, shivering now, withering
Your mind won't let you say that you're
Wondering now, pondering now, hungering
Won't let you say that you're
Questioning, wavering, weakening
You mind won't let you say that you're
Hearkening, listening, heeding me now
I feel your hunger to taste me
Your mind won't let you say that you want me

Change (in the House of Flies) by Deftones
I took you home
Set you on the glass
I pulled off your wings
Then I laughed
I watched you change
In you
Its like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So alive
I watched you change

Cold by Static-X
WE kiss
The stars
We ride
We are
Your main
Desire
Your flesh
We are
Your mouth
These words
Silence
It turns
On me
We laugh
My head
Falls back
Cold were so Cold

System by Chester Bennington
You fell away
What more can I say?
The feelings evolved
I wont let it out
I cant replace
Your screaming face
Feeling the sickness inside
Why wont you die
Your blood in mine
We'll be fine
Then your body will be mine
So many words
Cant describe my face
This feelings evolved
So soon to break out
I cant relate
To a happy state
Feeling the blood run inside

For in much wisdom is much grief
& he who increases knowledge
    increases sorrow...

Hey, *I* think Happiness is a Warm Gun is sexy. At least, parts.

"She's well aquainted with the touch of a velvet hand like a lizaard on a window pane." *shiver*

Now THAT is sexy.

You should hear Kim Deal singin' it on the Breeders first album.

And somehow, I didn't mention Shirley Manson. My my my.

A grrl coverin' th' Beatles? Dude, somehow that goes waaay over my head.

And baby, you forgot Shirley Manson, because it's her eyes/face/hair/body that's sexy, while only some of her music is. The rest is just rockin'.

Then why do I melt into a puddle when I hear #1 Crush, Vow, Queer, I'm Only Happy When It Rains, Stupid Girl, Temptation Waits, Androgyny, Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go), Push It, etc.?

Then again, yr right that I Think I'm Paranoid, Shut Yr Mouth, Supervixen and others are more rockin' than anything.

Then there's some exquisite sadness, too.

God I'm a music nerd!!!

Touche' Anvrill, I stand pleasantly corrected! (and I have to admit that the idea of Kim Deal singing the Beatles is strangely appealing )

Paula Cole- "Feelin Love" (Can be found on the City of Angels soundtrack...AWESOME sexy song...It's sounds like she is singing it right in the middle of great sex and it makes you want nothing more than to be in her shoes.)

Ginuwine has a few good ones as does Prince and Marvin Gaye.

However...when sexy comes to mind...SEX comes to mind and NOTHING beats "Feelin Love."

"Change (In The House of Flies)" by Deftones
"Closer" by Nine Inch Nails
"Ava Adore" and "Pug" by Smashing Pumpkins
"Control" by Puddle of Mudd
And pretty much anything hard.. because I like rough sex.

Although, "Erotica" by Madonna, "Feelin Love" by Paula Cole, "Lucky" by Bif Naked are really sexy too.

Oh.. and jazz.. nothing is sexier than jazz. Nina Simone - "Do I Move You?", "I Put A Spell on You", "In The Dark", "Black is the Color(of my true love's hair)", "I Want Some Sugar in my Bowl", "Wild is the Wind"

Well, Erotica is about S&M, so I don't think you can get much rougher in the area of sex. "If you're afraid, well rise above; I only hurt the ones I love."

Yeah, but I just mean the way it sounds. I don't exactly picture tying someone up and spanking them to the sound of Madonna. lol It is a cool song though. Nice to get you started.
