Everyone has their 'favorite' links don't they? You know, like CNN and Google and Moviefone.com? Even though this isn't the Links forum, I'd like to know what are some of your favorite links and why you have them saved....

Here are some of mine:

I just found out that you can take course through Barnes and Noble for FREE, so I'm investigating it through this link:
http://www.barnesandnobleuniversity.com/

A couple of weeks ago, I came across a link on a favorite graphics site to their 'blog' page. So I'm also looking into this:

http://www.blogger.com/

And speaking of graphics! I love them so here are a couple of my favorites:

http://www.gifs.net/animate/webl2.htm
http://pigallery.designheaven.com/
http://fantasy.enchantress.net/introduction.htm

Another favorite site (I go here at LEAST once a week) http://www.bartleby.com/100/
http://www.thefreesite.com/

http://www.letterheadfonts.com/

So! Care to share?

Oh I like this, I always have trouble to find good sites.

I don't roam the internet too much, just looking for things I can use on my website.

I came across the folowing sites:
http://www.wowgraphics.net
http://backgroundcity.com/graphics.htm
http://www.haijin.com/RN/indexa.html

and for explaining all the poetryforms: http://myweb.wwa.com

That's about it, I always use google to search the web.

And I'm using my own photoalbums for my pics http://communities.msn.com/Titiasplace
free to use for everyone as long as they give me credit.

I sure am going to check on yours.

Titia

http://www.allwords.com/ for prefixes, suffixes, inclusions, translations, etc.
http://www.apple.com/trailers/ for previews of up-and-coming movies (you can usually see previews here before they show them in the theaters, or shortly thereafter)

and http://www.wellsfargo.com/ because i'm really bad about balancing my checkbook.

Sharon, I love this idea. I will have to keep this in my library so I can check out everyone else's favourites.

Here are a few of mine:

for pics of Australia... http://www.labyrinth.net.au/~tdp/index.html

for a look into some Irish stuff I love... http://www.luminarium.org/mythology/ireland/#Cuchulainn

for my favourite song and some others... http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/Bluffs/5147/unchained.html

and just about any pic you want... http://www.ditto.com/

or a few hints on self publishing... http://www.uqp.uq.edu.au/publishing.html  http://www.e-publishingaustralia.com/

and of course there are all the web sites of poets here that I visit.

Well... I like   www.bored.com.

I also go to http://truemeaningoflife.com/

I must warn you, you have to have a good sense of humor, and be slightly sarcastic *grins*

Ya know, I just realized that considering I literally have the world at my fingertips, I don't go to many sites LOL.   I spend most of my time here in Passions..

OH OH OH www.buzztime.com  if you like trivia games.

Ok, so now I'm off to find some more sites to visit *chuckles*

What a great idea!

I have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many links in my favourites...

If you're trying to settle a movie trivia debate, or trying to figure out what that familiar person is in the movie you just saw, go to http://www.imdb.com/

I love the movie "The Labyrinth" with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, so http://www.angelfire.com/la2/bitingfae/  is a good place to check out.

I don't have a dictionary, so I use the site http://www.m-w.com/  which is Merriam-Webster's online dictionary. It even has word pronunciation, which is handy sometimes.
http://hoaxbusters.ciac.org/HBHoaxIndex.html  is handy for when people send me virus threats. It's got just about every hoax and joke email that's done or doing the rounds.

Check out http://www.darwinawards.com/  if you ever need a bit of a giggle. The book was in the top ten for a while here.

I'm really looking forward to the http://www.michaelflatley.com/  page going online. I've been waiting for a couple of months now, and I'm sure it's one I'll go to a lot once it's done.

Now I'm going to have to check out some of these other links. Gee my favourites is going to be even longer!

Bec,

I see you said you have a lot of favorites, well why not use the link below - it automatically will transport all your existing links to it, and all you do when you want them is click the blue ribbon by the clock and up they pop, out of way, so you have your whole screen to work with.  Here is the link to do that...
http://mybookmarks.com/

I see you like celtic dancing, so I posted my favorite here for you to see (my friend used to be in the original version so I like to keep an eye on this one)...
http://www.riverdance.com/

You may also enjoy this site on Lord of the Dance, that has various other links on it...
