Today, I realised that I have a crush on a movie star (character only really) for the first time since I was 16...

After carefully explaining this to Martie and Nan, while thoughtfully supplying (bombarding) them with photos of my dream elf, I decided to share my interest (mad childish obsession) with the WHOLE WORLD!!!!!!!

YAY FOR LEGOLAS!!!!!!!!

But really, I'm interested - have YOU got a crush on a movie star/character?????

(Cheers Nan and Martie - hey, check these pics out guys...specially that black and white one - getting ready to shoot arrows at the speed of light I tell you...

Aragorn!!! Whoa, he is one good looking guy. My brothers threatened to dump me in the middle of nowhere if I didn't shut up about him. *lol*

Johnny Depp is also one I wouldn't mind catching in a large net and storing in an even larger cage. It's the jawline I'm telling you.

Brad Pitt's hot!

So is... Liv Tyler!!!

Most of all though... Ali Larter. *swoon*

She's been after me for a while now, but I just haven't been ready for that kind of committment, so, sigh, I just keep asking her to wait for me... she's been quite patient actually.

Severn,

i hate to admit this but i'm a guy and i think Bloom is way way kewl...he makes me want to learn archery...

my answer would be Julia Roberts. i'm so in love with her mega-watt smile that i watch almost all her movies, even bad ones like America Sweethearts..

Aragorn has such lovely lovely dark swarthy looks, but well..unwashed hair just doesn't do it for me...and I like thin guys like ~heart stops~ certain faster-than-light elves...

Hey Martie - Johnny Depp...wanna know something ironic, he was the one I had a crush on when I was 16, when he was in 21 Jump Street...lol...he's a babe all right...

Well well C, trust YOU to shove such an appropriate link up there...~snicker~ this is a FAMILY site remember? ~shaking head~

You know, honestly...Brad Pitt has never done a thing for me...I don't know why. Maybe I'm not normal (gee, like that's not a possibility... ) Maybe it's because he's blondish...well, Legolas (heart thump)  is blond...but he's an ELF blond..with dark eyebrows..and Brad Pitt isn't thin enough anyway..poo to Brad, Jenn you can have him hehehehe..

*sheesh*

Russel Crowe's not too attractive - Ewan McGregor on the other hand... He's made me debate my natural orientation if you know what i mean - and he can SING!!!

Still, sigh, Ali Larter, because, well look at that cocky grin - she could whoop Legoland's butt without breakin' a sweat!

Severn I have to tell you I read the bio on this guy and he said...
"Basically, I can say that I came to acting because of the women."
that kind of talk really scares me LOL.  Sometimes any permanent with someone too good looking is really taking a risk, well that is what I learned from my own experience because eventually I had to share, and then throw them out and find a new one LOL.

Now who do I find I am attracted to, hmmm, well Brat Pitt for sure but my absolute favorite is Adrian Paul

One of these days I should get attracted to people my own age, but not until I absolutely have to

Oh I forgot to mention HOW we fell in love, that t.v. show was filmed in Vancouver for about four years, and I went to watch him "just breathe" every chance I got like a 16 year old school girl, and truly think he is hotter than that hot place.

LOL, had to edit my own post see what you started

Well Jamie, if you have such a problem with it just you go talk to Mr Jackson...

to think, *I*, lowly little K, have walked on the same hallowed earth (well kinda, by proximity at least) as the oh so beautiful LegoLAS....

Sigh...

Oh for a portal to Middle Earth...

Anyway, Arwen's spoken for J, sorry. You'll have to fight Aragorn and I really don't see that happening do you? A fireman versus a ranger...hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...odds not good my friend.

Heh

I'll go with the flow and say Brad Pitt.... but not mainly because of his physical features (which are, of course, pretty nice) but because he's actually a good actor on top of that.

Daniel Day Lewis is hot in that pretty-boy-still-built-and-dark-enough-to-be-rugged way... he's got really beautiful features, but not Johnny Depp looks-like-a-girl features...

But my all-time movie star obsession is Jeff Goldblum. Mmmm. Yes, he's plenty old enough to be my father but... oh man, how can anyone not see it? He's just unquestionably the most attractive man in Hollywood.... and I mean Jeff Goldblum now, not Jeff Goldblum in the 80's. He get's better with age... really... mmm.

Judging from the photograph in the link above if Legolas did shoot your arrows it’d take you the best part of a week to find them again! Nice bow though.

The problem here is, as Severn has already pointed out, that it’s the characters that people are attracted to (ok so looks play a part as well). In real life though you don’t get 103 takes to get it right, have somebody writing the words and have somebody else telling you how to deliver them.

I had a bit of a thing for david duchovney for a while, and then he went and got married to tea leonie... oh well...

To be honest, Brad Pitt doesn't really do anything for me. On the other hand, Ewan McGregor certainly does!

By the way, must share another variation on the Legolas/Legoland/Legdude thing. My boyfriend went to see it with a friend of his, and now the only way the friend can remember his name is to call him "Legless"!

When have I last looked on
The round green eyes and the long wavering bodies
Of the dark leopards of the moon?
All the wild witches, those most noble ladies,
For all their broom-sticks and their tears,
Their angry tears, are gone.
The holy centaurs of the hills are vanished;
I have nothing but the embittered sun;
Banished heroic mother moon and vanished,
And now that I have come to fifty years
I must endure the timid sun.

Okay..I don't think I've ever really had crushes on movie stars or their characters, but I know of some that I find attractive. LOL! I just don't know if I feel like searching for links to their lucsious faces and such right now.

Soo..I just have to sit back and wonder and amazement at Mysteria's choice because I ADORE this man's face she is talking about.

Hmm...also, if we're talking about the Lord Of The Rings movie, give me the Ranger and I'll romp with him with just a look to suffice for request. *sigh*

I do adore most magic practicing characters in any movie. Explanation of why would get me deleted.

hmm...and that prisoner (yes I know his name) in the movie Pitch Black...is just sexy. I'm not usually into muscle bound men, but his seem to be smooth enough for me.

How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so.

My soul will probably melt now.

Yeah so she's pretty...but can she:

a - look good blonde with dark eyebrows?
b - walk on snow?
c - boat on over to Bora Bora?
d - shoot faster than...? (you know the rest)
e - save the world?

No...~sadly shaking head~ she doesn't cut the mustard dear. Sorry...

(I saw Legolas today again...sigh...)

a - Yes.

b - ~giggles~ of course, silly, anybody can do that...

c - LOOK at the biceps in the last 'Green' picture...

d - She writes poetry and paints... what time has she for archery?

e - Hmm. She regularly finds transients on her travels and treats them to dinner and
conversation, cares almost exclusively for her extensive family, and when the doped,
emaciated look of contemporary models was at its prime, there came Laetitia, full-bodied
and absolutely voluptuous... redefining the idea of ‘beauty’, influencing how many millions
of inspired young adults to aspire to the ideal of health instead of the starved, vacant appearance of other models?

If that’s not enough for you, if you MUST maintain worth by the vainglory triumphs of/against bloodshed... consider her most recent character in a film based on the novel Le Bicyclette Bleue, by Regine Deforges, which concerns the French Resistance.... Laetitia is a messenger for the organization that fought to free France from the clutches of Hitler.

Oh, yeah... and she's real.

J: try again... I don't think the server had quite uploaded the pic completely while I was posting...
~grins~ How did you sneak in there before me, anyway?

And here I've been sticking with the snort-through-the-nose-while-spraying-monitor-with-liquid trick... thanks for the tip!

Dare I actually admit that I have a "thing" for Christinna Ricci? (covers face in mock shame while grinning behind his hand)

I've just watched "Gone in sixty seconds", and I wanted to add someone to my list...
